The receptionists and staff were absolutely fantastic in sorting some issues with records and prescriptions moving from England to Wales with my old surgery being difficult. Above and beyond calling my old surgery every day until it was sorted and keeping me updated. Partners midwife appointments have been excellent as well, far better than other areas.
Awful just awful can't ever get through on the telephone as no queue to wait just says sorry this person is unable to take your call so in the end popped in to book an appointment. Got appointment straight away but shouldn't have to pop in to book it. Receptionists are very unhelpful. Updated my phone number as was supposed to receive a call from a female doctor about menopause even though Dr Jay ordered to book me in for a test and reception staff go against what he has said a d said female doc will ring me in 2 weeks time. Not confident my number was updated as my referral to breast clinic I receive a letter saying they tried to contact me but no call received so clearly my correct number is not on my file. Been with the practice for years but thinking to change to a surgery with more helpful staff and where you can get through on the telephone. Although no doubt most GP practices gone down hill since the pandemic.
Absolute disgrace. Everything they do goes wrong. My mother has had a terrible time with Dr Jay. He should be struck off. Everything you request never gets done. Always chasing them for things/prescriptions for my terminally ill mother and nothing ever there like they say.
If I could give no stars I would , moving practises was the best thing I done ! Dre wouldn’t take me seriously and my little boy needed up in critical care when he was a baby , but apparently I was a paranoid mother ! Also wouldn’t take my Nan seriously later on the thing she was going back and fore with ended up losing her life , was told to take this further but at the time we was all grieving . Absolutely rubbish , only thing good was there receptionist Mrs Philpot she was an angel.
Cannot praise them enough. I must admit I have had a run in with a Dr but, I refused to see him after that but, overall in my experience they have been a top surgery
Absolute disgrace! Struggling with my mental health and was fobbed off and redirected to complete a form online. Then I was told I'd have to wait up to TWO DAYS for a response. I missed the initial call back I wasn't advised of a time, called back 20 minutes later and was told I'd have a call in a week. A WEEK?! when I asked if I could have something sooner they then advised a call back the next day, which I did not receive. In the meantime I spoke to the psychologist who advised I would be provided with a sick note and I should have someone contact me the next day when it was ready. I'm sure anyone reading this at this point won't be surprised when I rang back 3 days later only to be told that no sick note had been arranged, and I would need to do it online. I now have to wait 4 working days which goes over my self cert date to see if I can pick one up. When I also asked why I didn't receive another call back as promised they just read the notes back to me advising that I'd missed the call the day before. No additional notes had been added advising that I was promised a second call back. I very rarely contact the Doctors and am seriously thinking of registering somewhere else. This experience has caused me even more stress and anxiety, if anything. If I could give zero stars I would, and I recommend anyone who's redirected here to go elsewhere.
Terribly unhelpful, more concerned with own agendas than actually helping patients. Don't use this surgery if you have any disabilities, mental health concerns, or if you need a prescription repeat every month, because they will mess it up.
Terrible Surgery, only person useful is Jack. Really rude receptionists. Would avoid if possible.
Thank you so much to Jack pharmacist Dr Owen and all the staff. Throughout my illness last year you were fantastic and helped me through a difficult time. You are all always pleasant professional and I am most grateful.
Absolutely awful fot a doctors surgery. So glad i moved when i did. Now i fear for my parents who are still with them, i have tried to convince them to move. Receptionists are shocking. Since this pandemic it's gone worse. My doctors surgery has treble the amount of patients this one has and i have no problem seeing or speaking to a doctor within 3 hours. Someone is going to die at thid one before anything is done. I have reported them to health board, everyone else who thinks the same needs to do it asap before anything happens. Needs a review ASAP.
