Dr. Tapper performed a robotic hernia repair surgery on me yesterday. I cannot express my gratitude for how well everything was handled by him and his surgical team. Dr Tapper is very through in handling every aspect of the procedure. He explains what the problem is and gives several ways that he can handle them. He left me with a great deal of confidence that everything would be done as well as possible, and it was. I also was very pleased with his varied background and experience. I am very happy that Dr. Tapper is my surgeon. The office staff for SSA are also very professional and knowledgeable and easy to work with. It's been a very good experience being associated with the surgical group.
I have no words to properly describe how wonderful this team is and how much I appreciate Dr. Tapper. I went in for a simple procedure that turned out to be a bit more complicated, but Dr. Tapper and his team kept me informed and eased any of my concerns during the recovery process. The end result was better than I hoped for. I hope to never see Dr. Tapper again as I hope to have no more surgeries!, but he is hands down the best surgeon I’ve ever had. Thank you!
Dr. Itriago is an excellent surgeon along with Dr. Park and Dr. Tapper. They performed several surgeries on my mother and they treated her with wonderful care. I couldn’t have asked for a better practice to handle my mothers case.
Dr. Siegman and Dr. Tapper took excellent care of me during my operation they performed and during recovery they were there for me. They were very professional,answered all of my questions, and they always made me feel I was their only patient. Amanda in the office took care of all my forms that my insurance needed for me promptly while I was out of work. I didn't have to worry about anything. Great team to be in care of during my illness. Thank you to everyone !
Dr Mino is a down to earth compassionate individual who cares about the role he plays in his patients lives. He was referred to me by another physician I truly trust and I was not disappointed. I am not an easy patient due to some other health issues and Dr. Mino provided me with a surgical procedure which has improved my quality of life. Thank you. I highly recommend this doctor, he is truly an amazing physician and surgeon.
I highly recommend! I’ve been to the Riverview location several times for post op care and the staff is so amazingly friendly and they took great care of me during an awful time. Specifically they remembered I had twins, which I appreciated and that made me feel special; they also worked hard to get me in and out of my appointments quickly to get back to my infant twins! They work efficiently and kindly and even though no one wants to be in an emergency and have to have emergency care SSA did their best to make it better. Shout Out to Dr Itriago for helpin your girl out! Thanks again!
Dr. Itriago performed an emergency surgery on me in September of 2018 Perforated Colon as well as 2 additional surgeries over the following 4 months. He is an absolutely amazing surgeon and treated me as well as any doctor ever has. He is a consummate professional who is as thorough as I have ever seen in any field. He worked with me in every fashion possible to get me back to work in a timely fashion. His assistant, Trish, was amazing as well. She seamlessly coordinated supplies and FMLA paperwork to ease the burden on me emotionally. While being treated by this office and in the hospital, I was also seen by Dr. Tapper, Dr. Alpendre and Dr. Grandhige. Dr. Tapper is such a nice man who explains things clearly and sets about getting results. Dr. Alpendre went out of his way to see me in the office when I was concerned about a related issue from a completely different doctor Family Doctor. This act of kindness and care ended up catching a Staph infection early. Dr. Grandhige assisted me with what I believed to be a complication that ended up not being one. His tone and understanding of how to explain the issue to me is what calmed me. Being a mostly healthy person for over 40 years, the value of a good medical staff is always noticed and appreciated.This office is as good as they come and while I hope I never have another issue, I can assure you that this is the only office me or my family will ever come to if needed.
I can't thank Dr. Itriago enough for making an unpleasant procedure a walk in the park. I am absolutely blown away by the difference in quality from my Canadian counterparts, the Riverview office is super clean, modern and the staff beyond helpful. I wish I could say the same of my former Canadian experiences; generally waiting 4-6 months for an appointment, offering less options and putting up with repeat superfluous visits is the norm. On the contrary, the Suncoast Surgical Associates team got me in the door within 3 weeks, figured out what I needed during that appointment and fixed me up with the precision I'd expect from a surgeon! My only complaint is that our doctors in Canada aren't as cool, helpful or skilled! Thanks Doctor T, worth every penny, you put the "care" back in "healthcare" to say the least! Special thanks also to staff Trish and Liz.
My lung Doctor said I needed a surgeon to preform a biopsy of my lung. He suggested Dr. Siegman with Suncoast Surgery. Checked Dr. Siegman online and found him to be very qualified. I met with him and felt very comfortable with staff and the Doctor. The surgery went great. Dr. Siegman came in everyday I was In the hospital to check on me. Three months later my lungs were deteriorating at a high rate..I was using more oxygen and could not get into my regular Doctor for a week. Called Dr. Siegman’s office and talked to the nurse and she got e me in the next day. The Doctor listened to my lungs and quickly took me to the ER for a x- ray. The x-ray showed nothing wrong. And some doctors might of stopped there and sent me home. But, not Dr. Siegman. The Doctor order a C-TScan and found that I had a collapsed lung. Dr. Siegman admitted me to the hospital and started the process of inflating my lung. I.can’t say enough about the great job the staff,nurse and Dr. Siegman did. All are very professional and have compassion for their patients!
