My son attended this School there is not a negative word I could say about it. The teachers are fantastic and there are teachers aides also are in each classroom. each child is educated on a personal level which means that what ever there disability is they are going to grow in development. My son attended both primary and secondary and he finished his schooling and graduated his year 12 I couldn't have been more proud of him, and it also was great for him because he had accomplished something and has given him more confidence in his life and daily living. Its now maybe 3 to 4 years since he graduated and now his raising his own daughter and his a great dad, he also is working in roof tiling and loves it. I give great thanks to Mrs Guest principle of the junior school, and Brendan the principle of the secondary school and all of the teachers for the great job they have done helping me to educate my son so he can do the things he can do today and live a normal and productive life.
I have to say that this school still the best and awesome school for special needs children.If wasnt too far to travel from where I lived and from the Hospital. I would prepare to make my son stay, til yr 12. I would prepare to get along w/ the staff: Teachers,admin,esp. to the Principal are very good people.Friendlier, and get much more deliver a good education. Bec of this school,my son report and learning are awesome.He learn a lot.Even just to those parents I had a friend with.Parents are allowed to volunteer. I do not mind volunteering even longer years. Because thats how this School is,,,,And that is what the real non racist, I would love to be with. My son cried and so upset when he transferred to another school,,,it was the worst day of his life. And so am I....nSo I would say that this Specialists School was Highly Recommended.
