Great service when ordering a cake for a special occasion.
They have changed the shape and contents of their Bushmans pie. Nothing was wrong with the original, but this version has more gravy and far less chunks of beef and vegies-- VERY DISAPPOINTING. You will get no awards for this average effort. The apple and custard strudel however, is still great!

Ordered a cake. Tasted nice, but asked for it to be decorated with a message, which they misspelled.
This place has consistently delivered great cakes and the spinach and cheese roll is great. It has been in mentone for well over 20 years. And the apple crustie was the best way before donuts became trendy!
I bought a carrot cake for a birthday, the lovely lady who served me was very helpful and added some beautiful little fondant flowers and a message onto the cake for a lovely extra touch. Everyone was commenting on how delicious the cake was and some even said it was the best carrot cake they had ever had. Highly recommend
How do you give 0 stars on Google ?? Terrible product and a no care attitude from the baker, because of AFL Grand final day perhaps? ordered a $100 vegan cake and I could have done a better job. "But it's vegan what do you expect" was the answer....won't be back is my answer.
Been going to Sunbeam for many years, my Mother also and now my daughter, we love the cakes and the friendly staff.
