Massive potions and their large coffee comes with 4 shots!! Crikey. These cats don't muck around .nnGorgeous wetlands right next door and a lower level of seating available away from the wind as well as an outdoor bench in the sun .nnGreat spot to meet friends. I mad ethe mistake of coming at noon and they were very busy . Still manages to get me in and out within 40 mins and everyone seemed happy even people lining upnnThe chips are super crunchy!
Very tasty and generous servings. I had the loaded sausage roll: huge sausage patties, cheese, fried onion, bacon, and egg on a toasted Turkish roll for $18. Could have easily shared with someone...nNice views by the wetlands, but freezing cold inside as the indoor seating area isn't closed off. I suspect most of their trade in winter is takeaway.nThe two guys at the counter are friendly and helpful. The man in the kitchen didn't look very happy though...
It's been a while since I have been so uncertain what to choose from the menu. So much variety to choose from. I chose the squid wrap which was amazing! I was tossing up between that and the fried chicken and waffles. My wife had the beef and bacon burger. We both had a banana smoothie. It's a pity we are leaving Whyalla tomorrow morning, I definitely would have been back to try more of the menu. Well, I came back for breakfast before leaving Whyalla. I had the waffles with eggs and bacon with maple syrup. Absolutely beautiful. My wife had French toast. She loved it. The coffee was great also.
Sublime food and service /5nFriendly service and great food. The chips are phenomenonal as are the drinks.nIf you're not super hungry you could DEFINITELY get away with cutting and splitting a meal with a friend or partner or little one or pet! :nnSaw a lot of dogs, kids and sunshine so rather friendly and a nice place with a great menu with choice and variety for everyonennThere's an undercover place for if you want to sit in the shade, not burn in the sun and hear your order called out they call your name not a number so be ready to give a name!nThere's an outside area if you want more sun and a different environment amongst the dogs
They can't spell but they can cook!nA small casual café with great food and coffee, friendly service and good value.nWe had lunch and returned after a walk for takeaway cake and coffee.nRecommended.
