The hostel itself was clean and comfortable, with air-conditioned rooms and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were always super friendly and helpful.nOne of the best perks was the free city shuttle,it made it easy to get around town without worrying about transportation. Another big plus was the 24/7 reception. It was really helpful for getting assistance at any time or asking questions late at night.nThey also have a bar with different events every night, a swimming pool and a volleyball court.nIt was a beautiful experience,I’d definitely come back!
Location is close to the airport and the town, which is very nice. The room is spotless, staffs are friendly and very helpful. Amazed with the view from the bar to the swimming pool, loved chilling on the hammocks next to the pool every afternoon and watching other backpackers playing volleyball. There are other daily activities too. They have the shuttle bus depart from hostel to the night market and pick up return every hour everyday, so convenient. Had such a great time visit!
Great hostel where to stay in Cairns. Facilities are constantly cleaned, staff members are always friendly and helpful. Cool spaces where to chill out and relax. It’s amazing to have a pool in the hostel. I met amazing people here. They provide a free shuttle bus service to the city center and it’s also possible to rent guitars!
28yo F Canada. Loved how cheap the accommodations were. Great system in kitchen making it tidy and clean. Kitchen was always busy with limited space or time to actually get in to make a meal. A lot of people. Like a lot. Outdoor space was nice but small for the amount of people who stay at the hostel. Great when its sunny but less so on rainy days as there is very limited indoor lounge space. Provides duvets in Australia which is way too hot. A sheet would suffice. No ventilation in rooms with bathrooms means it gets damp and sticky. Staff will move things to the line outside and out from the room if they are wet. Good to keep dampness down but they also move things outside when its raining outside. Shuttle service was great and reliable but make sure you are there early enough. Sometimes the shuttle is full and you’ll have to wait to catch the next one or find another way.
Honestly this was the best place I stayed on my east coast. The beds were so comfortable especially after a long greyhound busnnEveryday there were events in the hostel and bar. It was so much fun to play some nostalgic Mario Kart. But a massive shout out to Alice, Carmen and Ale at reception. They were so lovely my entire stay and I could always ask questions!
