Exceptionally delightful experience We visited the Mediterranean Kitchen for lunch during the new year holidays. The physical appearance is colourful and inviting. Being all vegetarians, we were happy to see the variety of choices. We ordered a selection of dishes for sharing amongst us. The food was served very quickly. When the dishes arrived, it was a visual treat to watch them - so well presented and colourful. The food was delicious and well-balanced too and made for a satisfying and enjoyable lunch experience. It was only when we were paying the bill that we realized that we were looked after by Adem bey, the owner himself! Highly recommended - I will be happy to visit again!
We love coming here. Great and authentic Mediterranean food. If you want to try something different and not be disappointed, this is the place. A nice way to travel without having to fly to Greece or Turkey. Great service as well. Thank you!Food: 5/5
My wife and I went to Mediterranean Kitchen for lunch. We were happy to hear that their meats are all Halal. For starters we shared a meze platter. Everything was so fresh and delicious. She had a seafood platter and I had a lamb tajine for mains. We concluded with some baklava and coconut cake for dessert. Overall the food quality and taste were excellent and I would highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Halal
Making my way through the menu at this stunning restaurant. Food is incredible and packed with so much flavour! Also the staff make it worth coming back, they’re super friendly and hard working. I’ll be back for more!!
Lovely food. TASTEY and flavourful, really enjoyed the desserts. Host was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others. Really enjoyed the experience
Mediterranean Kitchen is situated as part of a modern row of restaurants, but manages a lovely ambiance with colourful glass ceiling lamps, handcrafted plates on the walls, and copper water pots that I wanted to take home with me, but would have made my suitcase too heavy! We enjoyed a thoroughly delicious meal from start to finish. We chose a range of starters and then dessert. The prawns and calamari were cooked to perfection and the mixed platter was superb; and of course we ate too much Turkish bread and excellent dips the tzatziki was a standout. The home-made Turkish delights were a favourite of mine, and a lovely way to finish off a really enjoyable meal. The staff were friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic about their restaurant’s menu deservedly so. One last thing, try a Turkish pomegranate tea tisane; my new favourite! 5 stars for an all round lovely meal!
Fantastic Shish kebab I had chicken. Served on 3 large slices of garlic pide bread, with fresh salad and a little hummus and Tzaziki dips - see photo.
2 of us went out for a Sunday evening dinner, had some mains and a dessert. I found mine quite nice the stuffed eggplant. I’m a small to medium serving size eater generally and I found it perfect for a nice simple meal. The waitstaff were nice as well. Understandable prices with the recent inflation costs etc. My brother had the Iskender and said it was tasty.
Reviews set high expectations for this place but maybe we were just having an unlucky day. We were super hungry & tired when we got here, but the food was substandard & kinda bland. The wait staff was friendly, food was served promptly & portion sizes were good. We ordered a dish off the vegan menu that arrived at the table with tzatziki sauce, glad we asked for confirmation as it wasn't vegan. Looking at the response to a recent negative review speaks a lot about the attitude of the owner towards improving their food quality.
Very friendly and good service but if you're from South Africa and used to Mythos restaurant, don't have the seafood platter, you'll be disappointed. Photo 1 is what I had last night and photo 2 is what we're used to at Mythos.
