Do you like lollies? Do you like serve yourself? Then what are you waiting for???! This place is awesome! So many different lollies to choose from! And the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, they keep the store really clean and everything stocked well.
There are products i really love in this store, unfortunately, there are some details i haven't quite appreciated. First of all, schedules are wrong, i have been a few times to find the store closed earlier than stated. Secondly, even though I have talked with some friendly staff, some others have been quite rude while telling me they were closing the store with some mean faces. It is noteworthy to say i wouldn't do the trip knowing it was closing wrong schedules doesn't help, however, i feel it is absolutely not justified to be rude when the mistake is from wrong information on Google.
Shout out to Dana! Sorry if spelt that wrong Best customer service ever. It's a tiny store that sure packs a punch. So much variety and choice. Conveniently located on the concourse and access from outside the station too to grab a few things. Though best access is within the station. I had been looking for PopTarts and Dana helped me find a particular flavour. Very much appreciate the assistance. My go to stop when I'm in the city and for my first time in the city in over 2years it did not disappoint. Had the best day and this was a highlight.
OK if you walk in here hard to leave without buying something for 'a friend'. Today I brought mixture of bullets, peanut clusters, choc honeycomb, choc almonds and Fantales for old times sake of course. And a choc heart, all up approx. $23. Also selection of American candy, soft drinks and chips. 16.9 arriving at Flinders Street at 7.40pm and thought what a pity Sugar Station closed but it wasn't, Friday nights open til 11.30pm so I brought $28 worth of bullets!! Sweet jesus that's an extra hour or twenty at the gym! 13.10 stopped in to buy some bags of blood. Yes vampires welcome! 22.1 5 mins before train popped in to grab handful of choc bullets and sold out! What! Salesperson said they always go first ... not surprised choc bullets are delicious!
Middle of the day or middle of the night, Sugar Station seems to have the friendliest staff in all of Melbourne. Big props to the Friday night crew, I'm sure it isn't easy. Especially on Friday Feb 21st. She said it was her first closing shift and she was doing and excellent job.
I Love this place with a capital L. Nice selection of candy, fun self serve station. Enjoy it very much. The thing that makes it stand out to me is the excellent customer service. On both occasions I went the individuals working during that time were very kind, accommodating and helpful. They gave us their suggestions and were very sweet. Overall, would purchase candy from here again because they were so nice. Also the candy was good. Liked the self serve a lot but the feet lollies I purchased were kinda mid ngl. I am so hyped to go to flinders again solely for this little store. I can die happy.
I went in for the first time the other day after walking past for years and was treated by a handsome young man with glasses. I wanted to get something for my sister and he was very helpful and patient with me! Pass on my thanks to him as his kindness made my day
Always had a good time but today was a disappointment. When I went o paid, the worker touched the end of the scoop with her bare fingers and then proceeded to scoop out the candy with that end. Unhygienic in the best of time, unacceptable in these times.
Some of the new staff here are so rude. Overheard the girl at the checkout referring to people as midgets and she proceeded to drop my candy without saying a word after weighing it. Thanks a lot.
Whoever owns these stores in particular the flinders street station store, you really need to be ashamed, you have brought in the no vax no entry yet you have nobody monitoring this, today I witnessed multiple people enter the store, pick their lollies, only to be told at the counter that they were only allowed to purchase if proof of vaccination was shown?! How does this make sense? And not only that but your poor staff members are dealing with this abuse by the time people have spent their time in the shop to then be turned away if they are not vaccinated?! Really doesn't make sense?!!!!! Sort it out, because if that was my child working at your store I would be absolutely livid with what they are obviously having to put up with!!!
