My goodness, these reviews are no lie! Thank you to everyone who posted! Sugar's is truly the most detail-orientated nail salon I've been to in years I thought my old tech was great until today! The ladies are kind, salon is lush and there's such a great variety of feature nails! Dangerous! :O I'm so so happy with my service today and can't wait for the next! Here's a shot of my chrome nails W/ top coat on natural nails. Incredible! Would recommend to everyone EDIT: I wanted to wear these out until they broke. Test the strength. It's been a month now and all of them are still on with the colour still being shiny. Yup, only coming here from now on. Worth the drive
Miwa is the BEST! Only nail tech I trust with my hands I’ve been going to Sugar Nails for 4 years, before that I was just going to a shopping centre place. My nails used to be so sore and damaged. Miwa takes client care very seriously - my nails are never sore and I don’t suffer damaged nails since! Miwa’s sculpting and nail art skills are impeccable. I recommend her to everyone I know!
I had the pleasure of getting my wedding acrylic nail trial done here and I am obsessed! The ladies were so lovely from the moment I arrived and right the way through. So much care was taken on my nails! I’ve had many compliments and people asking where I got them done. Absolutely recommend and looking forward to coming back in a few weeks! Probably one of the worst if not the worst set of nails I have ever had done. They are all different lengths, they are so thick and bumpy, the nail colour is all over my fingers and I cannot get it off. The nail tach was so rough and as a result my fingers are so sore. The nail tips that she used were far too wide for my nails and the acrylic is not only on my nails but over on the skin so it looks like my nails are round. She even cut my finger so it bled. Absolutely love my nails I got refilled here due to being stuck in hospital, I booked in same day and had a hospital day pass to go get my nails fixed up! They were all so kind and caring and the attention to detail and care with the work they do was so amazing! My acrylic refill and nail design was done so perfect thank you! Mei did my nails and she was absolutely lovely and super chatty! Couldn’t recommend this place enough, first experience/time there and loved it! Thank you ladies so much!Services: Acrylic nails
The lady who did my nails was amazing! She did exactly what I wanted from a picture, offered options along the way, and checked in while shaping my nails to make sure I was happy at each step, which is not something I’ve experienced at any other nail salon. She was also very skilled at prepping my nails and cuticles which sounds like the bare minimum but my experience at other salons has often left me in pain around my cuticles with uneven polish. Hands down one of the best. LoL excuse the pun. Pomi is an amazing technician. One of only a hand few of techs who know the new style only just now coming out of Japan. Gel X. Straight out of the fashion capital of Harajyuku, Japan to our little backwater city of Brisbane. If you have the opportunity and privilege to visit sugar nails you would be remiss not to book an appointment with Pomi. Amazing staff and excellent service with a price to fit. What’s not to love about sugar nails?
I went here for the first time today to have a nail trial for my wedding. Miwa is just wonderful, very accommodating and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t wait to come here with my bridesmaids to have our nails done together. The studio is clean and in good condition. Thankyou Miwa, I’ll be back soon!
