A Sunday well spent with the family at Sufra Mandi’s Buffet in Coolaroo!nnFor just $40, we enjoyed an incredible halal buffet with so much variety that there was something for everyone. From the delicious starters like Chicken 65, Chicken Tawook, Fried Fish, Dahi Bhalle, and comforting Chicken Corn Soup and Goat Yakhni Soup, every dish was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly spiced.nnThe highlight of the buffet was definitely the Signature Chicken Mandi. We also loved the Mutton Khorma, Chicken Achari, Dal Palak, Butter Naan, Cashew Zeera Rice, and the fresh salads.nWe enjoyed the Double Ka Meetha Shahi Tukde, Sheer Khorma, and a warm cup of garam chai. the perfect finish to a wonderful feast.nIf you’re looking for a halal Sunday buffet in Melbourne with generous variety, great flavours, and a welcoming family atmosphere, Sufra Mandi is definitely worth adding to your list!
Very Disappointing Experience at Sufra Mandi BuffetnWe came all the way from Geelong expecting a good dining experience, but unfortunately it was very disappointing.nWe ordered 3 Lamb Shoulder Mandi plates, and the food was far below expectations. The mandi rice was absolutely tasteless and had a strange smell. The lamb meat was completely dry and lacked flavour, making it very difficult to enjoy the meal.nThe service was also poor. When we asked for water, the girl serving us brought a half-empty water jug from another customer’s table after they had finished eating. She didn’t even bother to provide glasses — we had to pick them up ourselves later.nThe only good thing about the whole experience was the dessert, the Apricot Delight. It was genuinely delicious and probably the only item worth mentioning positively.nOverall, it was not a good experience for us, especially after travelling from Geelong. We really hope the restaurant improves both its food quality and customer service.
This is the first time for me and my partner. The service was fast and neat. Place is big and good. Food taste was awesome and milk tea is a must try. Chicken corn soup is also awesome. Mandi was next level food here.
I was very disappointed with my experience here. The Malai Kabab was incredibly dry and overcooked, even the chef admitted the meat had been left on too long. It felt more like it had been roasted into a tough texture rather than being a tender kabab. Additionally, the Samosa Chaat was completely overwhelmed by yogurt, making it impossible to enjoy. The food served looks nothing like the photos on the menu. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Designed and built with modern architecture and extremely high standard furniture and setting, this exquisite establishment offers a venue for many different functions including weddings, birthdays, engagements etc.nSufra Mandi is also a 7-star restaurant offering authentic sub-continent and Asian cuisine at extremely affordable prices. The menu is broad and generous. Dishes are delicious and freshly cooked.nWe had the honour and privilege to hold our child’s wedding ceremony and reception at Sufra Mandi. We were blown away by the amazing customer service, cleanliness and setup of the facility, and of course amazing cuisine served by highly trained professional personnel and staff.nWe highly recommend Sufra Mandi whether you wish to hold an event or just a nice meal out with family and friends. You will be welcome by the owner himself and his friendly staff who really care about customer service and satisfaction.nThe venue can easily host a few hundred guests, with separate areas for men and women.nA generous sized powder room is also available for the bride and female guests.nThank you Sufra Mandi. You made this event a unique and memorable one
