This place is popular for tart mousse cake and Pork Floss Croissant but we have not had the opportunity to try these famous pastries and desserts. We would love to visit back here to try these if we had the chance n.n-: it was quite little in the flavour of pistachio in the creamn.n : the pandan cream was not so outstanding in flavour; however, the rose lychee balanced the sweetness and buttery of the croissant.n.n : very fragrant jasmine tea, which went along with the desserts and pastriesn.n : decent strength of matcha flavour and the matcha latte was quite creamy
Got a birthday cake Raya here for my daughter’s 8th birthday and I m not a sweets person and I finished it! There’s sweet, salty and all the usual Asian dessert flavours. So we decided to come here and taste their other desserts as well, we got the Miyuri, croissant and chocolate chip cookies, suffice to say it was all delicious and fulfilling to say the least.nDefinitely a highly recommend if you’re in the area and they open on the weekends so no excuses, we came from the west side for this!
My favourite desert place in town! The owners are super talented/creative and always work on coming up with new variety of deserts both amazingly delicious and aesthetically appealing, so you’ll never run out of new option to try on every time you visit. The only downside is that there are too many great options to choose from, makes it really difficult to make decision on which one to settle on :
Beautiful pastries and cakes. Friendly, personable service. Not rushed and happy to engage and explain. Everything at Sucre Du Jour has impeccable balance and is a must visit for anyone in Boroondara or visiting Melbourne. Great coffee, but the pastries and cakes are simply best of breed. Shokupan loaf was so fluffy, flavoursome and light - the perfect base for delicious homemade Croque Madame and Monsieur. Thank you for the amazing experience, and look forward to visiting again soon.
Highly recommend if you are big fan of pastry and cake especially the sugar level is relatively much less when comparing with some local pastry shops. Pricing is reasonable at this quality level.nHighly recommend to try Mont Blanc and Pear-fection!nnVery friendly staff and cozy place to have a wonderful and relaxing afternoon experience. Easy to get there with lots of street parking nearby.
