My favourite desert place in town! The owners are super talented/creative and always work on coming up with new variety of deserts both amazingly delicious and aesthetically appealing, so you’ll never run out of new option to try on every time you visit. The only downside is that there are too many great options to choose from, makes it really difficult to make decision on which one to settle on :
Beautiful pastries and cakes. Friendly, personable service. Not rushed and happy to engage and explain. Everything at Sucre Du Jour has impeccable balance and is a must visit for anyone in Boroondara or visiting Melbourne. Great coffee, but the pastries and cakes are simply best of breed. Shokupan loaf was so fluffy, flavoursome and light - the perfect base for delicious homemade Croque Madame and Monsieur. Thank you for the amazing experience, and look forward to visiting again soon.
I’m a sweet tooth at heart so I love visiting different patisseries around Melbourne and recently checked out Sucre du jour in Camberwell. This cafe has a fantastic range of little and big cakes as well as very type of pastry you could think of. There are so many flavours it’s hard to just pick one!nnThe desserts we tried ~n- Limon tart candied lemon marmalade, yuzu curd, whipped lime chantilly $14n- Macadamia Cereal Tart vanilla caramel, chocolate ganache, milk chocolate chantilly, macadamia and cornflakes praline $14n- Pandan and raspberry jam croissant topped with lychee $10nnMy personal favourite was the macadamia tart that had the perfect amount of sweetness and the biscuit base was so good! Each cake is made with such precision and every ingredient complements each other so well!nnSpecial mention to the artwork done by @happisketchu that showcases the two tarts in such an adorable way!

You will definitely wanna hangout here with your friends over tasty sweet ad perfectly baked treats.nnWhat we had:nnMiyuri, black sesame cake,nPandan tart in association with @kori_icecreamnMango and pomelo cheesecake,nRaspberry danishnMatcha lattenRegular lattennMango and pomelo was the best one Monday all four we tried, so perfectly light and refreshing flavours of both mango and pomelo makes it taste so delightful. Definitely a must try.nPandan tart was equally fantastic, not too strong but enough to give it a lovely taste and so yummy it was. The perfectly baked and flaky raspberry danish was so delicious and goes perfectly well with the good quality coffee here.nFor black sesame lovers, this cake, Miyuri, is a must try. So fluffy, sweet and delectable. You won’t be able to resist this one.nMatcha latte is nice and bitter and really good. Highly recommendnnDefinitely chat with the creator behind Al these creative and mouthwatering cakes with Eigen to know the story behind each of his creations. And he will make sure you have a good time at this cafe.nnThe prices are very reasonable considering the good quality food they serve here.
Highly recommend if you are big fan of pastry and cake especially the sugar level is relatively much less when comparing with some local pastry shops. Pricing is reasonable at this quality level.nHighly recommend to try Mont Blanc and Pear-fection!nnVery friendly staff and cozy place to have a wonderful and relaxing afternoon experience. Easy to get there with lots of street parking nearby.
