The place was not so busy and the gentleman was kind enough to ask if he needs to pack 2 halves of a foot long bread separately. The place has a nice seating arrangement and ample parking outside. First visit. Liked it.Food: 5/5
The worst Subway I have ever been to in Australia, Europe or America. They have raised prices to ridiculous levels and have shrunk portion sizes. There are no fountain drinks available and a small drink from the cold case $4.60. The sub sizes have all been downsized. There are no chips available. Never again will I eat there. If I could give this place a negative, below zero score I would. The can stuff their free cookie where the sun don't shine. The owner has clearly prioritised profit over customer satisfaction.
Every time I come here I leave feeling very underwhelmed and discouraged. Today's experience was no different, not that im surprised. I walked in and was served relatively quickly which was different because im usually left waiting. The manager on shift had incredibly disgusting behaviour to her staff member. Berating her in front of customers. It could have just been workplace banter but when the team member didn't reciprocate, it felt so uncomfortable. If that's how she was spoken to i cant imagine what goes on behind closed doors. It's truely a bummer because out of all of the staff members I've been served by, she was the better one. I've worked in fast food myself, and have been a manager of multiple stores and I can't imagine ever going to work there. Not only was the attitude disgusting, the store matched it. Car keys and phones out on the bench in customer view, half eaten cookies by the register, coffee grounds everywhere. Definitely just the Cherry on top with this place.
The food is always good, and the staff were friendly and prompt. One of the staff had a couple of French Bullies out the front of the store that were pretty cute! However, the three star eating is largely due to the outdated decor, unstable tables that rock back and forth and a sense it was just feeling tired. It's probably due a refit.
Whilst I realise I was not sure what I wanted, there were no other customers present. I certainly do not appreciate Shaykara, staff member, rolling her eyes, making unpleasant facial expressions, and being impatient. Her customer service left a lot to be desired. I offered to go elsewhere. Thank goodness for the Blonde haired staff member. I wish I had gotten her name. She was very pleasant and made suggestions. I certainly will not be going out of my way to visit Cooroy Subway in a hurry.
Possibly the worst subway on the sunshine coast! Terrible service, no one wants to be there. Young fella was just stood there, wiping his face with food preping glove on. No "Hi, how are you today, what can I get you...? I haven't been back for a year & thought I'd try it again, that will be the last time.
Would rate this ZERO if I could! Is it just me or every time you’re there the manager is gossiping about other workers to her daughter that she’s hired while making your subway? It’s bullying of other staff and it’s horrible to listen to and watch. Not to mention the wait time while workers stand around doing nothing! Today I waited 35 minutes while a male worker stood behind the register yawning, his arms crossed, drumming on the table and playing air guitar while there was a huge line to the door! Then the poor girl working asked to go to the bathroom and the gentlemen told her she’d have to wait even though he was doing nothing but stand there yawning while waiting for a sale to put through. This place needs a new manager that sets a good culture and trains staff properly in a non gossiping environment. The manager should be setting the example but unfortunately doesn’t, have watched her ignore and talk about staff with her daughter while they are trying to make people’s subs it’s absolutely disgraceful. Not only that but she is a culprit for standing around watching staff work while there’s a huge line and doesn’t lend a hand to push things along.
Went in yesterday and ordered my usual, place was a total mess and the end result after burning the living hell out of my first one was average at bestFood: 4/5
How awful. Takes 10 minutes+ for the teenage boys to make you a sandwich. He put bacon into the oven, then pulled it out with the same gloves, then touched the cash register fixing up another customer WHILE STILL HOLDING THE BACON and then puts the bacon onto the sandwich. Doesn’t change gloves. Then touches all of the salads. The wrapping was wrong and the rolls were exposed. He kept coughing into his elbow while making the sandwiches. $49 for three rolls that were awful. What a disgusting experience.
Shout out to the young teen girl who served me and little one today. 01-11-23 well mannered. Great service and great foodFood: 5/5
