Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I felt nervous and as if I had to compensate for the lack of normal kindness and standard customer service. The staff did not welcome me, my sister, my 13 year old nephew and my 6 year old son. Clearly the staff working did not want to serve us and we all felt very uncomfortable. They would not even speak to us and even when they did speak I could hardly hear a word they said. From memory I believe her name was Tasha she was speaking to some people maybe friends or family instead of serving my sister who waited patiently. Then when she finally served her, she was extremely rude. As we left I turned to say thank you for making our food only to hear Tasha yelling slurs/banter in my direction in front of our children. We were just passing through otorohaunga traveling far and got treated like absolute trash. I strongly suggest action is takin some training on kindness. Worst experience I have ever had from a company. I strongly suggest to stay away unless you don’t mind being treated like crap
Our visit was generally fine, however one staff member didn’t seem very welcoming during our time there. From when we arrived and while placing our order, the interaction felt a little uncomfortable. My child was checking a Xmas decoration while under our supervision, without pulling it, and the response felt a bit abrupt. Customer service could definitely be more welcoming, especially toward families.

Great location specially if you are visiting waitomo caves. Subway was made nice by staff. Enough parking. Staff was welcoming and gave enough paper napkins as we were a big group.
I came into subway after a 3 hour road trip. A lady named Tasha was giving excellent customer service, she was very welcoming and kind. Another Worker called Unique was very patient and nice. These workers were absolutely amazing and very helpful as i am indecisive.
