Nicely redone pub. Went for dinner after just moving back to the area and was impressed. I had the steak sandwich and my partner had the poke bowl which they really enjoyed. They had the standards on tap as well as several local craft beers, which is always good to see
We stopped here for lunch in a small group. The food was at the upper end of the pub food range and very tasty. I'd certainly go back.
The new renovations look great, more family friendly too and a great selection of beverages.
Great table service staff hence, the 3 stars. But food was average and the chef's comments didn't help. Apparently, pork belly was "chewy" because it was twice cooked! That's just not good enough!
The renovated restaurant has lost all its charm... No table clothes, no personal service and pretty basic food with the same pricing.... Before you ask, I'm not old. But I do enjoy old fashioned service. Oh and you have to pay a credit card processing fee every time you order something with their 'new' system.
Fantastic for after work drinks!! i had a lobster roll and a glass of "froze" Food is AMAZING love what they have done with the place. The renovations have given subi a new piece of life!!
