We arrived much earlier than expected, and the waiter still gave us a seat after asking. They took many photos of us. Thank you for their hospitality. It was the first time to sit on the second floor. They have a good second floor for small parties. Their food is delicious. Especially the shrimp pizza and naan. Super delicious.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon. We were lucky to get a table even though we didn’t make a reservation. After a quick row in a boat, we sat down for lunch.nnOrdered the chicken schnitzel, club sandwich and a ham and pineapple pizza. The schnitzel and pizza were really good. Would give the club sandwich a miss but it was decent nonetheless. This place was a big hit with the kids with the playground as well.
Good food, nice ambiance with friends and family to enjoy, perfect combination! The boathouse is just right beside the Yarra River. So, if you’re going for a good walk along the river or after playing sports within the area, this is the place to stop for good coffee and food! Plus, The hash browns, amazing!! We even had to order another one! Can’t wait to go back and try their lunch and dinner meals.
Arrived here as a group of 4 on a pleasant Sunday around 6pm and were shown to a table immediately.nFood was good. A kind of pub grub but better. The chook schnitzel was well coated in crunchy crumbs and the meat was thick and juicy. My burger was delicious - the chips weren't great.nDessert was good and the scones excellent.nService was good until dessert. We waited a long time to get it as the evening wore on. Ordering could be done by QR code or at the counter. Everything else came quickly.nA picturesque venue by the river with a good crowd - geese dropped in for a visit as non-paying customers.nParking is tight at this time and you have to walk down an incline to the restaurant.nRecommend you try it.
Went for breakfast. Food was good. The service from the staff was great and attentive to your needs. Not only that, it was an excellent view and great feeling to have a meal outdoor. Pets are allowed in outdoor areas. Heaters are installed or placed around the outdoor areas and that it makes it very comfortable and was an enjoyable meal. Parking has limited slots if you intend to park near the restaurant. However, you can park slightly away from restaurant, along the main road which is free parking and just a few mins walk. After the meal, you wither choose to rent the boat for a row in the lake or walk your little furry friends around the park.
