Booked one of the summer pods today for brunch that comes with free 30mins row boat experience. The idea concept is great and food standards are above average. Would like to take this opportunity to praise our waitress we forgot to take her name who served us at the pod and assisted at the boat rental for her excellent service. Unfortunately the rest of the waitress isn't that great and could do better by giving a little more attention as well as friendlier service.
This is one of the good place to visit with your little one or young ones as well. This place got the natural greenery and got beautiful Yarra River where you can enjoy boating . This place is also good for BBQ as they have lots of preparation there already just get your stuff with you. Parking could be an issue as normally people spend 4-5 hours average there, so please be mindful to come early and get your parking. If you live to ride the cycling ‍ and you can bring your cycle as well as there are some nice tracks around there. Hope you guys find it helpful for your next visit. Cheers
Such a beautiful place for the whole family, couples, singles, the elderly. A very pretty boathouse set amongst beautiful natural surrounds. Lots of birds, ducks, native birds, a kiosk and upstairs cafe. Take out a row boat. Be safe. Delicious scones made on site with jam and cream. Go for a walk, sit and eat, row, feed the ducks, have a picnic or BBQ. Something for everyone. Vegetarian options: Check their menu on their website but yes. Lovely salads, etc. Kid-friendliness: Feed the birds, take them on a boat, have lunch or a picnic, go for walks. Parking: Ample parking Wheelchair accessibility: Check with the venue re cafe upstairs
3.5 STARS This is a review on their Sunday high tea. The positives: • good staff • great view • the scones were nice • the dairy free food was good The negatives: • most of the desserts seemed like store bought Costco maybe • the rice in sliced salifornia roll was very dry so assume that meant it was old Will need to revisit them again after a few more months of post COVID normality.
A lovely setting next to the river and great for a lunchtime meal. Staff were amazing, and our dog was allowed to sit with us outside. You can order from the table via your phone, and the food came out promptly, even on a public holiday. The food was delicious, and the seasoning on the fries was great! Seating inside was also available, and we were genuinely impressed when we visited here.
Studley Park Boathouse is a nice relaxing place to visit when you’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle of the city. The sunny bits: Nothing beats the peaceful environment around this joint. We had a lovely walk before settling down to vacuum up a couple of their fresh pastries while sitting under the shade. The apricot danish was delicious. Top marks for the rhubarb danish as well. The flaky buttery pastry melted in our mouths. Service was lovely and efficient. The cloudy bits: Hmmm…nothing that I can come up with this visit. The forecast: Great food, lovely service and an amazing environment makes this place a triple threat!
Melbourne iconic location! I've always wanted to check it out and I finally did on an unusually warm 19° August winters day. Which made for a special feel to the place. There were ducks and swans basking in the glorious winter sun and people meandering the banks of the river, seated for food, drinks and just to take it all in. Definitely a must do for your melbourne must do list. And also take a stroll across the bridge. Parking: Loads of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: I'd say ok for easy wheelchair access to most areas.
We took quite a large group to the Boathouse high tea. While the adults enjoyed the high tea, the kids ordered burgers & chips from the menu. The high tea food was great, we had so much food we couldn’t get through it all.
Good, basic selection of lunchy, brunchy foods and sweets. Beverages include alcohol, when the bar is open. Tables, under big umbrellas, with a great view. Some easy and interesting walking tracks. Parking: Easy parking Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
Staff was very welcoming and driedCame on a hot day and had a table in the sun but the staff moved us into the shade which was extremely nice of them to do. Had the steak and lamb flat bread. Both were absolutely delicious. Would 100% recommend coming here and enjoy lunch with the view of the Yarra
