Booked an appointment for 1pm. Arrived five minutes early. Was greeted by the lady doing the appointment who told me she would be five minutes. Twenty minutes later I am still sat there with no update from the beautician. It was a half leg wax that would have taken ten minutes max to do. Half an hour lunch break and 20 minutes sat in a salon not getting the treatment I had booked. Very disappointed. I left without getting the treatment. Bad customer service. I have been here a few times and it was great. Not sure what has gone wrong but they've lost a customer now.Service: Body waxing
My husband booked me a spa appointment for my birthday. I received absolutely amazing service on the day. My therapist was lovely, chatty and did a great job. Fantastic massage, beautiful nails. At the beginning of the appointment I was told that he had booked me a massage and a spray tan. I was told that it would be fine if I had a shower after the massage before the spray tan and asked if this would be ok. I agreed and all was well. After the tan I mentioned it looked a little patchy and asked if that was normal. She said yes, told me the after care and if it didn’t look right the next day to call. Being only my 2nd tan I took her word for it. However when I called back the next day, as my tan looked quite patchy, I talked to a guy who didn’t seem to know what to do so called out to a woman, who then proceeded to blame me. She had an extremely rude attitude, poor customer service and condescending. When calling back to complain about the poor customer service and for accusing me of causing the patchy tan, she denied this. Unfortunately her attitude has ruined what could have been a lovely experience. I was offered the opportunity to get the tan fixed however, I have to walk around looking like an orange stripped zebra for 2 days Update: One of the lovely staff at Studio 31 contacted me in regards to the review. Was fantastic, apologetic and able to assist me with removing the tan. Much happier customer. Thank you.
I'm not one to usually post negatively about a place, however I was extremely unsatisfied with how my nails turned out. I did end up going else where to get them taken off and redone, which is the first time I've ever done that, as I'm not usually too fussy about what my nails look like, but I felt to embarrassed to have nails looking like they did unfortunately. They didn't file, shape or do any other nail care besides buff. There was a fair bit of polish on the skin which meant that it was lifting up already and I could tell it would start chipping in a few days. The lady that kindly done my nails, was proud of how she did, in which made it difficult to let her know how unsatisfied I actually was. Don't get me wrong, their customer service is excellent as they are very welcoming and chatty, so kudos to the team for that. I would consider coming back, but definitely won't be getting my nails done here again, sorry. Thank you for your service anyhow.
This has become my one stop shop from relaxation to makeup all under one roof. Love everyone who works there
Such a lovely environment, I had my well overdue eyebrows done and after such a busy week at work it was really nice to have a relaxing massage in such a calming environment. Great experience getting my nails done here with Helen. She was really good, and super efficient!! The fastest I have ever had my nails done without compromising quality. And reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning!
