Small local Turkish restaurant. When you walk into the place you can tell this restaurant was a passion project. The smells of the meat grilling on the charcoal immediately strike you. All the raw meats are on display and when ordered they are promptly cooked over the charcoal heat. The service here is both friendly and efficient. There are about 5 dine in tables and some outdoor seating as well. The utensils are self service.nnWe had the mix plate. The meats were a mixture of chicken and lamb. There was a small portion of salad, 2 sauces and some Turkish bread. Everything was absolutely delicious. The lamb particularly was juicy and tender. The sauces were beautifully creamy and the Turkish bread brought everything together. My only wish was a slightly bigger serving size for the price.nnAmazing fresh Turkish food and definitely worth a visit!
Best Turkish food I have had in a while!nFlavour is amazing and service was good.nThe portions can definitely be bigger especially for what you are paying for. My partner and I were taken back by the price as city residents. You wouldn’t expect a shop in the suburbs to be charging as much as they are and not offering bigger servings. We actually ended up ordering more food as it wasn’t enough.
Love the food is cooked on coal! The bread and dips are very good.
Having tried many Turkish restaurants over the years in Melbourne and home made Turkish cooking, without a doubt this is the best Turkish restaurant in Melbourne. I regularly drive from Berwick for take away as nothing else compares. Staff are warm and friendly, the Adana is world class as is the rest of the fare. the owner takes pride with his food, presentation and sources some of the best export grade lamb in the country. If you haven’t tried it, I genuinely recommend you try this place.
My friends and I came here for a casual dinner, and it turned into one of our favorite nights. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud, and the staff made us feel like part of the family. We shared a platter of meze and grilled meats, and every bite was better than the last. This place is perfect for catching up with friends over amazing food.
