One thing I can say without a doubt is that this is one of the best places to get fish and chips in the midland area. Chips where had that crunch you want from a chip. The fish is nicely done battered nicely and not oily as some of the other reviews say, and the sides are all done to the best. This is definitely place to try if fish and chips is on your mind.
Just tried this place for first time just moved to the area so trying to find our new fish and chip shop we had a great one where we used to live its our Sunday night go to. Will definitely be back very close to the one we used to go to . Banana fritters are the best I've had in a long time hubby is picky with his fish and said it was very nice not oily at all thin crispy batter they would've got the extra star if dim sims had slightly thicker batter on them I'm picky about my dim sims.
Clean shop, friendly staff. We ordered a piece of dhufush and a piece of snapper. We received 2 pieces of snapper - wrapped and labelled separately as ordered - however both pieces were snapper. Fish was tasty and fresh but would have preferred to be told they didn’t have dhufush than have it passed off as something else. Maybe some patrons don’t know the difference but my avid fisherman husband did.

Easily the best fish and chips in Perth, I’ve tried most of them, but this hidden gem is numero uno. If you want a fish and chip joint that cares more about its advertising or fancy shop fit-out then this place is not for you, but if you want old school fish and chips thats all about the fish and chips then do yourself a favour and give it a go….My partner and I always get the half family pack, so fresh so clean. All this place is missing is the Wonder Boy or WWF arcade game in the corner whilst you wait…
Been getting fish and chips here for years. This place is great.
Ordered the Fisherman’s basket and the portion size was perfect with great variety! The batter was nice and light and would highly recommend. Been 2 weeks in a row now and going to make it a weekly ritual.
I purchased the WA Shark and chips with some spring rolls. The shark was amazing, chips were cooked just right. The spring roll was so good. You can tell its home made becuase you can tatse how much love goes into it. Definitely recommend this place. I'll be coming back.
