Brilliant venue! $10 a ticket for a latest release. How do you beat that?! Friendly comfortable Reno done and new seats etc and stop off and bring your beer wine coffee from the upstairs cafe into the movie. Can’t recommend it enough and we need it here!!!! Thanks to the owners for saving it.
For a 1st visit to the newly refurbished Caloundra cinemas, I was blown away. Great prices $15 for recliners with rotatable table, is amazing these days. The cinema has lost its musty old smell, the new seats, carpet and screens, have made it an absolute delight. Congratulations to the owner on creating an experience that Caloundra can be proud of. The staff were lovely, the food prices affordable, especially compared with other cinema complex. Totally enjoyable. We will make this an ongoing attendance.
The staff at Strand Cinema are always polite, friendly and professional. The food in the foyer is very reasonable. The cinemas, seats, screens and sound are very good, it’s definitely worth going to see a movie here without the big price tag, we will be back.
Me and my friends wanted to go see a movie on our one night off working, when we got there we where told we needed ID, never before have I had to give ID so none of us where prepared. Only one of us could get our passport sent to us so we brought the tickets online and he still said no. So I showed my passport and he said no. Normally I have such a nice experience here such a disappointment. All we wanted to do was enjoy a movie and now we have nothing to do and have already purchased the tickets popcorn and a drink.nnUpdate-nWe finally got in and got told we could go into the cinema by a nice lady and we sat down and where laughing at a pleasant volume before anything started no adds nothing and a different male worker came in and said ‘behave yourselves ok girls’ as if we where being rude, loud and disrespectful. I’m extremely upset normal I have such a welcoming and experienced. Not sure I’ll come back again
In the process of a wonderful revamp. New comfy seats, recliners in some & with 'back to the 80's pricing, thus place is fantastic... make you support it, so it stays around.
