I haven’t been to the Strand in years. We saw Moana 2 with our toddler and I was so impressed! They’ve recently updated and installed new seats. There is so much leg room and the seats are super comfy. They even have booster seats / cushions for kids to sit on.nThe candy bar is so cheap too! The popcorn and choc tops are delicious. Definitely cannot beat it for the price and I’m looking forward to checking out their gold class/ platinum theatre!! Will definitely be coming back again and will now make this our regular cinemas over the larger cinema chains nSupport the local as it’s worth a visit if there is a movie you are wanting to see !
Terrible service and communication.nI waited in line for 30mins to be told the movie snow white sold out. A man came over and said im the owner and its sold out. I said... so why is it not advertised on the website that it's sold out. Ive come down with the family to watch it.nAlso there were no signs or public communication about it. He was rude and arrogant and I he should seriously review they way he runs the show. As a business woman I've never experienced such poor service rudeness and arrogance. Strand need a new owner.

Honestly the popcorn there is so cheap and it’s the best popcorn I’ve ever had from the cinemas, like I would go to gold class sometimes in other cinemas and get popcorn that taste terrible for like $20 bucks a bucket. Here you get delicious popcorn for $3 for a small, $5 for a medium and not sure how much a large. I think $7 but the popcorn is amazing and the seats aren’t that comfy but it matters how long your movie is. I always just come here for the popcorn
Love this cinema. Would bother going elsewhere..the prices are great, seats are good,and it has a great feel about it. Gets all the big movie busters and it's all close to home.
