Hands down the best fish and chips!! Everything was so fresh and delicious! We had battered flathead, homemade potato cakes and chippies, and every bite was absolutely divine. The portions were huge and we left completely satisfied. We’d come back here in a heartbeat!
We had lunch here and service and atmosphere absolutely brilliant.food was delicious except kids creamy pasta.In the menu it's clearly said pasta with creamy sauce but we got spaghetti with bolaganis sauce.nWhen I asked about it! service staff doesn't have any clue on that and I request to check with the chief to change it and after couple of minutes staff came said as per the chief this is creamy sauce which is totally tomato based bolaganis sauce and nothing they can do .
We weren't feeling really hungry so we were just looking to have something quick and easy to share. This place was perfect for that.nn6 of us shared a fisherman box and a seafood basket total A$47. There's a small dining area and it was relatively clean. Taste? Tasted just like how deep fried food should taste like. We finished the whole lot. The young men working there were friendly too.
Our go to place for fish n chips when in Devonport. Fish that melts in your mouth with the crispiest light batter. Always good sized servings and never leave hungry.
Wow, what a fish and chips shop. Never had in house made potato cakes so good before. In fact, everything was on point. We tried a few of the snack type stuff and the squid rings and hamburger pattie in batter were the best I've ever had from a f&c shop. Was a last minute easy dinner for us at the end of a Tassie trip and I would happily return there again. Didn't get to try the fish on offer but can only imagine how good it would have been going off everything else.
