Best bar in Freshwater! They do some great happy hours however the prices are great even after the time. Staff are great and they do some delicious cocktails. When in summer try and get and outside seat to get some nice views. Even inside is nice when with a group. They do a good food menu but I come here mainly for the great drinks and vibe!
Really enjoy coming to this place for a drink and some food after a swim. I enjoy their fish tacos and no chorizo no cry pizza, their gluten free pizza base is pretty good. Service can be hit and miss though. Decor is gorgeous.
Great place to meet up with friends the food was delicious. Cocktails are awesome and different I like how they make it their way. The music was relaxed chilling out
A nice tucked away bar in freshwater. It has a great sea/nautical theme as the name implies overlooking the general freshie town square. Prices are average for drinks and meals are higher than average for our review circuit, however their daily deals are in fact good value. We went for the $20 Sunday steak 12-3pm as of 29 December 2019, the steak was cooked to spec, with chips and salad included. Staff are friendly and prompt and they have a decent variety of drinks on tap or cocktails on menu. 4/5 would drink again.
We liked this place! A funky mix of al fresco dining with indoors subdued lighting and some Victorian style furniture and decorations. We sat on the balcony which was lovely and not too noisy. On Thursday nights the Classic only cocktails are $12 albeit a bit on the small side . You can’t order food or even drinks from a person whilst sitting at your table which is a bit of a pain - you either do it via a phone scan or you go up to the bar and wait. They do bring the food out to you though and it was promptly delivered. We had prawn sang Choy bow, fish tacos and salt and pepper calamari. These were all done gluten free at our request including the beer battered fish which was done with gf beer and cornflour. Definitely worth a visit !
3 stars for the food, lovely spot though, great bar, food used to be good, but last night we got the vegetarian and the royal with cheese burgers, they were terrible, couldn't finish them. Hopefully, their food comes back ok soon.
Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. Food is really really good, Taco's were amazing, chicken wings incredible and my boy said it was the best cheeseburger he has ever had. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. This will be our new spot! I would rate it a 10 if possible, Old School quality and service.
Hey, how ya going? Went for a nut roast dinner, realised it was a lunch special, ended up with tofu everywhere. I got the tofu burger and my partner got the pow pow salad with tofu. The food was good but not great. Very happy with the portion sizes and restaurant vibes though!
Love this place! Good beers on tap, great happy hour on saturday and the food is tops! Keep the chicken burgers coming!!!!
Good atmosphere. Great pizzas. The menu is not cheap but the food very tasty. The beer and cocktail selection is great. Probably book if you plan to visit in the evening. Ideal venue of afternoon drinks.
