The rooms get very hot due to the lack of aircon.nSome beds have no privacy at all.nService was good but they get you to make your own beds. They run events daily which is great for solo travellers.nLocation is very good being just 2 min walk from Manly Beach.
This hostel is amazing! I loved staying here can’t recommend it enough. It’s good value for money and all round clean and comfortable. Perfect location literally a street away from everything beach, shops, pubs, gyms, restaurants, ferry wharf. Clean rooms we booked a private twin room it was spacious and beds really comfortable. Women’s showers and bathroom facilities were modern and clean and had a really good hair dryer free to use. Nice extra touches in this hostel make it feel more homely. Free continental breakfast of yoghurt, pastries, fruit, breads, cereals, coffee, was good quality. Communal area and kitchen was modern and closes at 11pm so not noisy in the hostel at night. Would definitely stay here again.
stayed at Stoke Beach House during my study abroad program and loved it. The location is amazing, right by the beach with great views and easy access to cafés and walks. The vibe was social and welcoming, making it easy to meet people, and the rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely recommend it for students or travelers.
Amazing hostel with an incredible vibe!nThe vibe of this hostel is absolutely incredible and the place itself is amazing. I had such a great experience staying here. They organize activities every single day, which makes it super easy to meet people and enjoy your time to the fullest.nnUnfortunately, I had the bad luck of getting sick during my stay, but the way the team supported me was truly exceptional. The entire staff was incredibly caring and attentive — they even accompanied me to the hospital.nnA special mention to the manager, Fabio, who was always on top of everything, constantly checking in on me, offering help, and making sure I had all the assistance I needed to solve my situation.nnI can’t recommend this hostel enough. I would definitely come back without a doubt!
I stayed at stoke beach house for 4 nights, free surfboard and snorkelling rental for 2h. I’m writing this review 2 months after and this is still the best hostel I’ve stayed in, clean, free breakfast and the best vibe. Can’t recommend this place more. Great free pool and chess which most other places charge per pool game. Great place if you get the chance, stay there.
