A beautiful 2023 New Years Day. An expected busy time of the day. We sat ourselves comfortably without delay alfresco. Ordered our standard Caramel Latte coffee, iced water & reviewed both breakfast & lunch menu given we arrived for Brunch. Staff obviously very busy, a little frazzled based on the back & forth which I think caused some unnecessary delays, not just us but those who had already been seated & were waiting, It was obvious they were trying to be understanding with the delay. Food was good but a little too heavy, the price $72.60 I thought was a bit much for the time it took to arrive & for what we ordered, but hey it was New Year’s Day after all. Over all a solid 3.
Conveniently across the road from friends apartment. Dine in or tables outside on pavement. Wheelchair accessible. Meters away from Oxford Street. Good service with little waiting times for food. Worth a look. Can sometimes be busy but have usually been able to get seat inside.
My best friend just moved in to the area and suggested us to have lunch here. He always gets take away coffee but never tries the food. I chose Reuben sandwitch as I like the sound of pull beef. I have 3 words for it - “To Die For” . Well obviously my friend chose a healthier option “Poke Bowl”. The colour of that bowl is like rainbow. One comment that he made was the dressing was too much and a little salty.
Food presentation, great. My salmon bagel wasn't that impressive taste wise. My partner got scrambled chorizo. He says too much chickpeas in the dish. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great as well the coffee. Ambience, great! They have interesting menu so would love to try their other food options next time.
Consistent 5 star experience at Sticky Fingers. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere despite the fake flowers but the highlight is the food. Everything is made to a really high standard and tastes delicious.
Sticky Fingers is the perfect place for a brunch, the interior of the restaurant is very well arranged so you have the feeling of a cosy place. I couldn’t try the terrasse because of a bad weather but would be very nice for a sunny day. I’ve ordered a cappuccino which was really tasty especially the coffee inside, my friends ordered some toasts which were as beautiful as good. I don’t think that I had any bad points so I really recommend this place to have a good time.
I’ve been visited for dinner. It was really delicious. Friendly staffs and chill dinner vibe. Totally recommended!
I came here often during my month in Sydney. The coffee is great, and there are many really nice breakfast options including vegetarian. The atmosphere has also been very chill when I was there, and I was always able to just choose a table. I knew I should be trying more cafes, but I kept coming back to Sticky Fingers because it was reliable, delicious, and the service was very friendly!
I am lucky enough to have this wonderful cafe right across the road from my flat and I go in regularly. The staff are always very friendly, the food is always amazing, chef is always more than happy to adapt the menu if need be for example, I prefer the summer breakfast with sourdough rather than corn bread, and they are always more than happy to do it for me and the coffee is the best in the area. It also has a wonderful atmosphere now, the new owner was hit with two lockdowns in his first two years of business, him hand his staff have worked incredibly hard and I'm absolutely thrilled to see it buzzing again. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and even vegan options available. Dietary restrictions: Chef is more than happy to adapt the menu, just ask the friendly staff.
