Had hi tea here with my friends and we couldn't fault this place. From the moment we walked in the setting was perfect for a cold wet day. The fire place made this place so warm and inviting. The decor was lovely too and the pea and ham soup shots we received first went down well on this cool day. We also received a sparkling wine each. Them we received a variety of sweets and savoury treats and scones with cream and jam with a pot of tea for the table. The food and tea all tasted good and we were all very full.
This is a nice place for lunch or dinner, we had the 3 courses meal, the entrees and desserts were delicious, love the fig dessert and home made ice cream, the main courses were a bit average and it took them 3 hours to serve 3 courses meal, and it wasn't very busy, very slow in serving the meal. The staff was friendly and beautiful environment.
Deserves more than 4.2 esp for the quality of food served. and friendly service Notable being Mr Vasili.. the entrees chilli mussels, snapper wings n fried calamari were excellent! My daughter n wife finished the mussel sauce. But slow-cooked Dorper lamb ribs were the highlight of lunch and also our entire trip! Considering we had lamb at Yarri, Amelia n Voyager! A real blast! So were the desserts! Spent 3 hr here! Will come again surely!!
Place was stunning, like a fairytale, service was personal and fantastic. Entrees were fairly good but mains were average, not bad but not fantastic which is something you'd expect at the price point paid. Plenty of parking, restaurant is quiet and intimate.
The food was fantastic but what most impressed me was the service. There was only one waiter but he took our order without writing it down and got nothing wrong. He attended our table just enough. I'd go back there In heart beat. Nice quiet place with good food and good service.
Lovely restaurant located within the Swan Valley. We enjoyed the three course menu that was on offer. Each course was perfectly presented and tasted delicious. Our mains of Fillet Steak were the standout, absolutely perfect, the flavour was amazing and cooked just as we like them medium rare and rare. Would definitely recommend a visit, the staff are lovely and the service is attentive and professional. Parking: Plenty of parking available on site.
Has potential to become 5 stars, A few things needed to be addressed. Food was very nice though.
Had a High Tea birthday party for a 12yo girl. I chose this restaurant because of the interior. It was a really nice one. But I was very wrong with the food choice. The food provided didn’t cost $59 per person. Absolutely. Food looked as just heated and not freshly made. On the phone I was told that all food is done on the day. Well, only if you heated the frozen food, like curry puffs , which they get from Spudshed.. kids didn’t eat it though anyway.. We booked 2 tables in advance and when we came our tables were not ready! And we were waiting to be seated for 20 minutes.. ridiculous…while they were serving another tables , not ours.. very disappointing, but there were no any apologies from staff. Also, we were waiting for the manager/waiter to come with menu and order forever.. also, there’s no any information on the website that you can only order for lunch 3 course meal.. or buy nothing. Manager did us a favor and “allow” us to order only main dish. I’m not coming back guys.. They need to hire more staff and review the policy for minimum orders.
Nothing short of outstanding. A great selection for a set menu and the fillet steak was the best we have ever had, highly recommend this place and for those who gave less stars because they had to wait - food of this quality takes time. Fantastic service too We will be back, highly impressed
The most disappointing meal I have ever had. Most of the meal was like left overs from two day ago we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. A la cart not provided and told it would be set menu, then rushed and not what was explained we were having, disgusting meal. Paid our bill $157.00 . Will not be back!
