Location Is on point folks and this is a must for beach goers. Huge car park at the back of hotel so that's fantastic too. All the restaurants, eateries, IGA within walking distance and very good. Very little car noise which was surprising at this time of year, bonus for sleeping. Room needs a little TLC, curtains, great to have a little extra crockery and cutlery for eating inside. Showered pressure and hot water needs attention especially at night. Room 5. Faucet in sink too.nStaff were friendly and attentive and I'd say that overall the set up is what you'd like. I'm sure Ray the owner is proud of what he's got and will attend the TLC department.nHope this helps and it's my honest opinion.nCheers
Very few options for a meal in Dromana and this pub would have to be the worst pick. 4 meals between 3 people were all underwhelming and bordering on inedible. Staff are doing their best but it is clear that there is a turn and burn culture with no care about quality or customer service - a sandwich from 7 Eleven is definitely a better choice.
Tried to go here for ONLY a meal and soft drink. Was refused service as my friend didn’t have an ID even though both of us had tattoos and had our keys. I had my ID with me and clearly look over the age of 18. We were told they won’t serve us any food or drink even in bistro as my friend only had a photo of her ID. We were spoken to quite rudely by the 4 staff that kept directing us to all different places of the hotel and couldn’t give us a straight answer. They said they can allow children with parents to eat in the bistro however not even allow us of the age of 24 not even ordering alcohol.nHorrible staff apart from the ONE lady who helped direct us to bistro who worked in the kitchen!nWe ended up driving to the JR brewery, food was great and service!!!nGlad we got refused in the end, they didn’t deserve our money here
The listing caught my eye, as the building has historical value,nFor $190 I cant see the value, except the beach across the road.nnIts just a pub - sadly, I can see what it could be!nThese comments are intended to just be honest.
We have been going to this place for years and we are never disappointed. Friendly staff and the food was great and reasonable priced.
