We have been looking to purchase a boat for over two months and were either too slow/unsure to purchase a pre-owned one or we didn't feel like the shipyard we visited wanted to sell us a boat. We stumbled across Stefan boating world when we were looking at a different boat in the area. The large range available as well as Peter's can do attitude immediately made us feel like we are in the right place. We ended up purchasing a new boat and are very happy with the assistance we received from Peter as well the the boys in the service department. A great large dealership in a massive shed, easily accessible with a wide range of boats and motors. Bought a new Yamaha F40 for an open hull. Clayton in the service area got it set up perfectly, he does excellent neat work. Good to see a business where the owner puts their name and reputation to it. Particularly good value and customer care.
we needed a new tender right before Xmas. Even though on that weekend they weren't officially open we received the best service and the RIB was even taken to the boat ramp for us. Stefan gave my wife Jackie some hair products. Should add the RIB with welded aluminium hull is the best value and quality available locally. best service,price and quality on the Coast.
Bought an outboard Yamaha 150 four stroke from Stefans unbelievable deal from Kane he was right on the money then he handed me over to Clayton and he explained the install onto my boat. I was a bit nervous about a few things as this was all done on the phone i called the boys back a quite a few times Awesome service!!! Awesome prices!!!!!
Stefan and his Team were so helpful, and really polite introducing each person. They fixed a potentially large problem for us for the minimum price. They are here to genuinely help the customer have a great experience and we did! Would highly recommend.
How does Adam from spare parts even have a job. Never available and never calls back at all after leaving multiple messages. When you go down there the spare parts section is one big unorganized mess that never seems to get sorted out. Some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. I suggest going down the road to Broadwater Boating Centre instead. They have their heads screwed on and know how to treat a customer.
Im a professional fisheman who spends 5000 hours per year 20 miles offshore. There is only one place to buy or sevice your boat. Stefan Boating World. I also trust my kids lives offshore with SBW crew extraordinary attention to detail , quality work and advice every time we go. There is no better feeling when its crazy scary out wide than knowing that simple fact as its a long way to swim home.
Tried to call spare parts this morning and was told I’d get a call back as soon as “he put his tools down”, waited 35mins and called back, no apology just put on hold where I had to listen to the most irritating recording I have ever endured, 8 times in a row!!! Then I was cut off, waited 10mins, no call back, so I called again! Still no apology, got another 5 serves of that stupid recording then finally got to speak to spare parts who did understand my frustration and did help me out. A message for Stefan, listen to that recording 8 times in a row, only takes a little over a minute, and imagine being on hold for 5 minutes or more.
