Always had a great experience ordering from steel solutions. I realised yesterday when I picked up an order that 2 pieces of steel were missing, however by the time I got home and realized they were shut. When I went in today to pick up another order I told them about it and they cut me the pieces on the spot. Great customer service given what's going on with the current pandemic. Highly recommend
This is absolutely the worst and the most expensive steel supplier to deal with! 4k per tonne. Save some money and go elsewhere.
I'm 72 yrs of age and have lived in Croydon for 40 yrs, as a DYI guy I've done a great deal but when it comes to steel work, very little. Having said that, every time I call on Steel Solutions I receive the best quality advice and service just as though I'm a regular.
Thought I'd be laughed out of the shop for needing just a few small pieces of steel. Nope. The guys were super friendly and helpful. I live nowhere near this shop, but I'll definitely make the journey here whenever I need some steel!
Prompt service, great online ordering system. I've bought steel from here for various DIY projects over the last couple of years including gates, fruit tree supports and a workbench and couldn't be happier.
Google and their own phone message say open Saturday until 12, went out of my way to get there before 12 only to find out they aren't open saturdays, Well played. I will be going elsewhere and will be hesitant to recommend to others.
use these guys if you like some chewing gum on the phone while talking to you , and like being told ,bad luck just because the internet says they are open on Saturdays they are not and if you don't like that go somewhere else Mate...well that's what I was told
