Still amazing. Been coming here on and off for years. Still the best bacon and eggs in Menai. Today I had mushroom and winter green sides to snack on with my coffee. It was beautifully presented and the flavour was just perfect. So good!!! Always a nice vibe in here. Thank you chef and team!!Food: 5/5
Had high hopes after seeing many good reviews but was quite disappointed with the coffee to be honest. Order was two flat whites, but they definitely weren’t flat, foam levels were resembling more of a cappuccino. Milk was not blended into the espresso shot properly as seen in the pictures. Espresso itself was under extracted and had more of a sour taste. Art was the wrong way, the art should be facing towards the drinker when the cup handle orientation is on the right.
We were going to Wollongong and then this stopped this place while on the way to have breakfast. It’s a small cosy cafe with outside sitting available. We ordered avocado ducca and chilli scrambled eggs along with juices and coffee. Avacado ducca taste good and and presentation was also nice. However chilli scrambled eggs looks quite normal but taste good. Orange and tropical juice were okay and coffee was really great. Service was fast and staff was nice. Try it while you are nearby
Have visited a few times accompanied by a disabled friend… staff are always friendly and accommodating, and go out of their way to assist with modifications to suit dietary and preference requirements. Always enjoy the sense of community there, and the quality of the food, and most importantly, endlessly fabulous espressos. Special mention to LT on top of all the great staff. Thank you Steam Brothers!
We had a great experience here on Sunday 11th September. The young waiter was hands down the best waiter I have had in my life so far. His professionalism and manners were amazing. The food was delicious which added to the great experience. Will be coming back!
First impression is wow. Shop got out is very impressive. Clean, modern and very contemporary. Quality food, great variety and coffee was spot on. Balanced and smooth. Congratulations guy.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Great coffee, amazing food and really hip atmosphere. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend their signature coffee blend and blueberry pancakes
Steam Brothers Coffee is our go to when we are heading on a trip, or in our studio editing. They offer a bean which just seems so easy to get right in any conditions out on location. These guys are always helpful providing us with varying roast dates. Cheers guys
If you find yourself in Menai and are looking for a good local cafè, make sure you check into Steam Brothers cafe. This establishment is located close at the local shopping mall and is serving up some quality food and coffee. Steam Brothers cafe has a clean modern fitout with plenty of seating both indoors and out. Only open 3 months, but they are certainly making a positive impact on the cafe scene. The menu is diverse with a range of breakfast and lunch options to cater to many diners. Steam Brothers have a range of heathy breakfast options. The green eggs are a great healthy option with a baked egg kale, sicilian olives, mint and fennel salad on a slice of sourdough. The Mushroom bruschetta with a fried egg and parmesan is another quality breakfast option which we really enjoyed. If you sleep in and are arriving later in the morning or at lunch time, steam brothers do an all day breakfast and there are a number of tasty lunch items too. The Schnitty roll is a lunch time staple in Australia and the Steam Brothers version is at the top of the list. They use of quality ingredients, fresh salad, the schnitty perfectly cooked and a tasty mustard aioli, all served on a soft brioche long roll. One of the best we’ve had. The burgers also the source of some food envy as they passed the table, but the portions are so generous, we couldn’t eat everything! Head to Steam Brothers has a good setting to grab a quality coffee and some tasty food. Be sure to pay them a visit.
