One of the care less service providers I seen. We made appointment on Monday and when we got there they said appointment is changed on Tuesday. When went there Tuesday on time they said running late 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we gone back and still waited for another 20 minutes in side room before some one come and said will be soon with you. My claim was cancelled because of miss communication and they blamed on us.
Much has changed in the last couple of years. Now, Status at Modbury, provide a caring, helpful service. The staff are both professional and personable. Their care covers the full spectrum of unemployment.
I've read the reviews and it basically says it all . This organisation fails quite often then blames Centrelink on most questions ask . Only recently I was asked to attend an appointment with my job provider and this young man offered me a fork lift ticket and a white card & I basically laughed. I asked this person had he read my resume to which he said NO . Now how can a job provider help in anyway if not even reading a person's resume . Once I asked this young gentleman to read my resume he was somewhat shocked , I told him I'd worked as a Boilermaker welder and Supervisor Project Manager Manager and had several hundred of men work under my direct control . Do I blame this young Man no I blames his direct Mangers , the environment is stail and found at time toxic . No I don't need STATUS to teach me how to do a resume or a course on how to become a barister white card or a fork lift ticket .
Very disappointed with this service. As someone who has never had experience with employment providers, I was expecting what other people had told me about their experiences. However, I had a totally different experience to what others had told me about their providers. I only saw my actual provider once in the almost three months I was with this service. The rest of my appointments were pointless ‘job searches’ in a computer room for thirty minutes every 3 weeks, even though I told them I had already completed my 20 job target they still asked me to drive an hour to come in and sit there for half an hour because it’s compulsory. So for thirty minutes I sat there on two occasions doing absolutely nothing. A few staff members were quite rude and almost as if they had no desire to actually help me. Even my own provider was not interested in me being there at all and said some rude comments on the first, and only day I had an appointment with them. They’re extremely unhelpful and I would not recommend them to anyone.
If you are a client of Status, they constantly book appoinments & push people to look for but they dont actually help the people that really need it. Then theres the case where a person applied for a particular job & they need a police clearance, they say "it should only take 10 mins", which in reality took 3 weeks, the person is constantly calling status worried about the job vacancy closing & status isnt doing anything about finding out the result of the police clearance. Even proven when the person found out that status had already been emailed the results & neglected to inform the person concerned until the following week. I would like to have their easy job, They are pencil pushers & that is all they are
Let's get it straight. Job Networks do not help anyone find work. They enforce compliance with centre link and that's all. Status are worse. They pretend they are different, lie to recruit people, then bring them in fortnightly to attend useless meetings so they get paid for providing a service. What service?
These people do absolutely nothing to assist you with getting employment. They will try and take credit for any employment you gain because they get money from centrelink. They will harass you even after you have found full time employment. This place is a complete and utter joke and I strongly recommend avoiding this place like covid-19
The ladys at the reception desk are so nice and are extremely friendly and very professional .the case managers are very helpful and go out of there way to help you great employment service
This place is a joke get centrelink to refer you to a different provider I'm serious the turn over off staff is ridiculous total waste off time due to high turnover in staff how is this provider going to help when they can't even keep staff
Nice staff, but they do nothing. Rubish, Just do as a ruteen. They get paid for nothing.
