Try the iced coffee!! Cheese scone was best I've ever tasted.
They serve the best cheese scones I’ve ever had and their slices are amazing. It was a perfect pick-me-up in the middle of our trail ride. Highly recommend stopping there. The owners were both really friendly. I’d love a copy of their cheese scone recipe!!
Reopened with new, and v friendly owners. Lovely garden to rest awhile. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches to refuel.
Great spot to stop if you want a good coffee. And the jalapeño bagel with avo & feta is hands down the best bagel I’ve ever eaten in my life!

Such a welcome stopping place for lunch on the Otago Rail Trail and their jalapeno bagels were amazing.
Good homemade food. Friendly owners. Support them on the road or railtrail at Lauder.
