It is the main shopping centre in the area , Bunnings, mc Donald’s, kfc and all the other big franchises are close by. You can catch the public bus from here to Hervey Bay takes about 1hr-20mins for only 50¢.nThe shopping centre itself is not huge so it’s easy to navigate. Plenty of parking just don’t tow your caravan in here like some fools do
Bit of a nightmare to get into this place, carpark construction been going on for ages. Current carpark is very tight to navigate and the spaces are tiny. Lots of closed up stores inside which is a shame. Plenty of derros hanging around outside. Otherwise, bloody rippa mate nip into Coles and grab ya poo tickets and hand sanno.
If you walk through coles entrance, make sure to have mask on bcz you have to walk through cloud of smoke of cigarettes. Not good for young kids especially in pram.
I'm not a local and from Toowoomba visiting we have Grand Central as our shopping centre which is twice the size of this one in Maryborough. Station Square is not as big as I expected it to be. Hardly any shops. Minimal to no security around which is a bit risky because of the youth crime going around.
Well I seen a dark fella yesterday walking around Station Square drinking alcohol security guard seen him and did nothing about it and then I seen the security guard outside talking in the car park. Tuesday. I seen a bloke walk out with a trolley load of food worth about $400 From Coles where was the security guard? Then I might as well have no security guard there because he can’t do his job properly.
