Excellent repairs and sales, good prices. Have been very generous with advice and help as well. Once I had a broken part on a mower that couldn't be replaced - they jumped on the tools and whipped up something that did the job - cost? Not a cent! Quality business!
Poor quality product and poor service. I purchased a replacement head for a whipper snipper which the store fitted, but it got too hot and broke/melted after 30 minutes use. The service person insisted I must have used the equipment incorrectly and tried to charge me for a replacement. The last head lasted for 10 years of fairly frequent heavy use. I used to work as a professional gardener and did not misuse the equipment. Avoid this store’s whipper snipper equipment and know they will not replace any shoddy products.
Been waiting for a pump for four weeks and still waiting !! Had to buy water twice and looks like will have to buy a third load of drinking water because they are so slow and just don’t care about customers at all. Absolutely disgusting. Since posting this review , the owner Mark told us on the phone to go somewhere else to buy a pump. Absolutely no effort to rectify the situation and improve this rating at all. He even hung up on us after saying it. Wow. He said he felt sick after reading my review….well I’ve been feeling sick every day and night for over four weeks, welcome to my life !!!
Absolute joke. Been screwing over my dad for the past four+ weeks instead of helping him out. Every time they're contacted they are incapable of providing useful information about what is going on and why. Accused my mum after she left a negative review that she was "lying" and "causing trouble" - but didn't contradict the fact that they've been utterly useless and incapable of providing the service we've been waiting for. We've had to buy water three times now; are they going to reimburse the cost of that?? Wouldn't have needed to if they had either done the job, or admitted they couldn't and recommended us to somewhere else.
I've been shopping with Statewide for a few years now and they are always so helpful. Even when I've needed help with products I'm unfamiliar with, they have always been knowledgable and given me great advice.
Family member spent the last 4 weeks waiting for a pump replacement, when enquiring the store about where it is, just get told "oh yeah, I gotta call them about that" lol. I told them to go to a real store in Bendigo next time, pick up what they need on the same day could have ordered one online myself and had it delivered in 3 days what a joke.
If I could leave a zero rating I would. Booked a jet ski in for service and due to an employee at the shop having an exposure to co-vid the service was to be rebooked. No problem with that. The service was rebooked and when arriving for our appointment today was told no room in the yard so would not be able to do it. No courtesy call to change the date the only suggestion given was go somewhere else. NEVER EVER will we be using this business to service any of our equipment because they offer NO SERVICE
Excellent customer service. Very fast turnaround times on mower service and repairs. Great pricing. I highly recommend Statewide Irrigation and Rural Supplies in Castelmaine!
Always helpful and honest at Statewide. Like today when I dropped in my chainsaw for a quick tightening. Expecting it to go into the workshop queue, instead it was back in my hands in under 5 minutes - and with the air filter cleaned and bar oil topped up. Very sharp work, Stateside...AND now 5 days later, a duplicate experience when the crew patiently helped me out with a sprayer: fiddling a readjusting until it was perfect. SERIOUSLY, consistently impressive.
Never ceases to amaze me how poor the service is here. I only go as a last resort. I would never consider giving a poor review to a local business, but after 4 years of being ignored, abused once, and generally treated with indifference, I feel obliged to write something. I don't know who these guys like helping, but it's not me!
