Came to see Avatar 2 in Cinema 2. Booked online, used kiosk on arrival and printed own tickets. Spent too much at candy store lol but loved the double scoop ice creams and giant popcorn and drinks. Cinema 2 was awesome. We were in last row our choice but loved the movie. Daughter went back for an ice cream... "dad, they were so quick to serve you" - praise indeed. Thank you State... you deserve 5 stars!!!!!
A lovely old feel cinima. Food and drink available. Alcohol and meals upstairs.
Great to see the venue has been upgraded, it's looking fantastic. Shame the staff let down our experience though. Perhaps they need to be reminded that without customers they would not have a job.
Love the State cinema, the chairs are excellent, I’m 6 foot 3 and had no issues with watching avatar excellent movie by the way choc dip ice cream are a definite must.
Really nice movie experience. Easy to book and pick up tickets, reasonably priced kiosk, theatres are comfortable and clean. I recommend.
Really nice boutique cinemas. Staff are friendly and cinemas are always clean.
Havent been for a while but went and seen Top Gun. Great sound system and good screen. The seating layout is still hard to get in and out of if you need to go out during movie, a refresh of seating etc would be good.
One of these rare old-school small cinemas after a successful modernization. Well done!
Nice building food available. New system of getting tickets in now. You can get them send to your phone and save link que . Movie which was the first showing was way to loud. They listened afterwards and will change it. First time we have ever walked out of a movie
