For now, this is the first thing I tried, and OMG, here we go with BARBARI. I had to repeat it because it's absolutely divine. The best Barbari bread ever—Persians know exactly what I'm talking about.
It was my first time here, service was magnificent, really friendly, kind and welcoming staff. I didn't dine in, so I can't really score the atmosphere, The food was fresh and well cooked, but not enough salt not really a big deal, and lack of flavours, didn't have any spices in such as turmeric, cinnamon, ...to make it more Persian style. Would've made a difference if it was a slice of fresh lime/lemon on the side to make the taste slightly better.
The lady was very accommodating and went above and beyond! We enjoyed our brekkie very much. They also serve kalle Pacheh, haleem. Very authentic! Bread was amazing Felt like back in Iran.
Cannot express how much I love waking up early mornings on Saturdays, only to run and call this store and quickly secure my weekend dose of Halim and Barbari : It’s such a tasty and nutritious breakfast to have in the chilled mornings of Melbourne! Dipping the hot Barbari bread in the super soft halim bowl makes such an exquisite taste! One bowl serves two adult size meals with a tad smaller portions. Customer service is awesome and no one leaves this store without one big smile on their face. Definitely recommend!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They made me feel welcome right away. The food was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommended!
