Edited review: Wanted to get Baklava for some friends for Eid celebration, first thought was this Kebab House. Various choices, fresh & well priced. Bought Pistachio Baklava from them 2 weekend in a row. Absolutely divine & enjoyable! Swift & friendly service & pretty good deal for $4.50 each.
Ordered a mixed kebab plater and tasted good. Sized is big enough for two or three people.Food: 5/5
Lady serving was lovely. But I bought a snack pack It has to be the worst HSP I have ever bought! chips where still half frozen meat was cold asked for sauce got a drizzle. I'm not usually one to complain but I defiantly will not be buying kebab or HSP from here again!
Ordered the fish calamari and chips special for $15. I don’t know what they did to the calamari but one bite told me not to continue. Cold on the inside and I can’t even describe the texture. Fish was over cooked and rubbery and the mountain of chips that I guess was meant to add to the value was covered in chicken salt which I didn’t ask for and hate
Unsure what one needs to do to get service here, but apparently standing at the counter and waiting patiently isn't it. Wasn't on my phone, was waiting for staff to take care of the one other customer and their cleaning. Tried to make eye contact. Nothing. Anther person came in after me and was served before me. I left. I've had food from there before and it's OK but not worth waiting around and being ignored.
Got a kebab only. It was alright but not the best tasting. Really packed with contents, so good if you like abundance. Bread was thick and soft.
Delicious Kebabs roll in taste and quality as they made fresh breads instead of using readymade packet breads. Fresh kebab bread was very soft and melt in the mouth. Loved it. Zucchini balls were ok in taste, soggy and very oily as I was expecting crunchy from outside though. Overall pleasant experience and will come back again.
Open til 8pm on market days. Collect from back door after gates close. Very friendly. Great food. Best beetroot dip l have ever had. Toum garlic & olive oil, hummus great too. Lentil soup is so good that we have had it every weekend for past month. Would have it more if possible. Chicken meat not greasy. Tabouli is served/sold without dressing which means it keeps better. Fresh sumac or garlic bread lovely. Definitely recommend this business. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options, especially recommend lentil soup
We were served so quickly and ordered takeaway kebabs and pizza. The amount of food was amazing, easily two meals per serving. Our food was prepared quickly and it was delicious. We are definitely telling our friends.
Hidden gem at Fyshwick markets open well after other joints have closed. Huge serves of freshly cooked Turkish style cuisine, pizzas and sweets. Always busy and that's a good sign the place rocks. Highly recommended and I will certainly return when I'm back in Canberra.
