Had lunch there. Service was excellent, young waiting staff very friendly. Ordered steak sandwich which I've had several times before and always been happy with.  I asked for mayonnaise instead of sauces. Toasted chiabatta came with lettuce on one side, but no mayonnaise and nothing else in the line of salad. Steak was small, and overdone. Very disappointing. Lemon cheesecake rubbery, I returned it after one taste and was not charged. Overall very disappointing.

A lovely lady on reception greeted me on arrival, and directed me to my very clean comfortable room. The restaurant service is a let down, food was hot but not terribly memorable, but the staff were disinterested, bordering on almost rude, it was not especially busy and there were plenty of staff working. Be aware that it faces a very busy road and there is constant noise all through the night, which is nothing to do with the hotel itself, but does impact on your nights sleep. Perhaps noise insulation would help

Lovely lively atmosphere.  Booked as part of a large party booking to celebrate the life of a much respected family member.  Staff helpful and friendly.  Food excellent,  tasty, well presented and plentiful.  A must visit!

Had the pleasure of attending a wedding here this weekend. All I can say is wow, wow, wow! From the moment we set foot in the hotel, to the moment we left in the early hours of the morning, the standard of service was outstanding. The wedding meal was exquisite and the serving staff were so lovely and friendly. Special mention to Marian, who is just amazing and is a huge asset to the hotel. Thank you all so much.

Went for a meal with my aunt, uncle n friends as an extra....the good was lovely, the service was good even if there was a mix up about how it was to be paid but turned out all good in the end.....the waitress's were lovely....I remember the hotel from about 9 years ago when I went to a reception there with family, preferred it then but it's been rebuilt n renovated now n it's looking really lovely, never actually stayed there so cannot comment about the rooms but the bar is pretty big n accomodating for everyone

I would like  to take a few moments to remember our highlight of 2022- Dearbhla and Conor's wedding! More specifically, I want to remember, and sincerely thank, the work of some very special people who not only made the day possible, but more magical than we had ever hoped for.  Right from the start, no ask was too great. The creativity, care and organisation showed by Marian , Mario and the whole team at the Longcourt meant that every idea and personal touch was discussed, documented and then delivered on the day. Never feeling like an annoyance, although I’m sure I was with my random requests! Marian was always on the other end of the phone, laughing and chatting, assuring us that everything was in place every step of the way. Despite this, nothing could have prepared us for when the doors opened to the ballroom on November 5th... it was just breathtaking. Everything from the decor, to the kindness of the staff, to the delicious food and impeccable service completely surpassed our already high expectations. The dessert  buffet for obvious reasons was a crowd favourite!  We really cannot thank every member of staff at the Longcourt enough for how special and memorable they made this special day. Marian and Mario - your staff are a credit to you and your leadership is evident. Thank you both also for your hard work, kindness, and dedication... but most of all for your laughter when times got stressful no I’m definitely not a mumzilla We will always remember you as one of the best parts of our very special day.

We had a small wedding here 5star. Marion the wedding planner was fantastic from start to finish.good food and lovely rooms . would highly recommend this hotelRooms: 5/5

Had beautiful meal and some drinks, staff very helpful and friendly, absolutely no faults, will definitely return and stay over next time
