Wanting to give a review for this amazing cake that was done for my daughters second birthday. It was a Two Groovy theme and they did a phenomenal job on what I was asking. They did so great with the color theme and style. And not just that it looked good it tasted even better! It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Will be using them for now on whenever I need a cake in the future!
Working with Lisa and her amazing team for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! After our first consultation on the phone, I knew she was going to be the best person to work with for how joyful she was and accommodating of us needing changes at the beginning. Our cake turned out wonderful and was DELICIOUS. Don't hesitate if you're considering Star Cakes!
They did such a wonderful job on my wedding cakes. They both looked absolutely beautiful and they went above and beyond for the grooms cake. Almost all of my guests wanted to know where I got the cake because it was absolutely delicious and super moist!
Star Cakes absolutely nailed my sweet sunshine baby’s first birthday cake. We worked with Lisa & she was extremely professional, polite, timely, friendly, and communicated efficiently. She executed the design exactly as I had envisioned. Not to mention it was the best tasting cake ever… we were previously “Amy Cakes” customers & after Amy closed we were in search of another local business to support for our bakery needs. Star Cakes Bakery did a fantastic job on a cake and cupcakes for my father’s 90th birthday. Every one of our party guests raved about them, and my father, who is an exacting critic when it comes to cake, declared it was the best he had ever had. He was not kidding. Highest marks to the wonderful folks at Star Cakes Bakery in Springfield, Mo.
I ordered a cake for my husband’s graduation party from nursing school in December. It was a LOVELY experience. I tried SEVERAL bakeries in the area and no one bothered to respond. Not only did Star Cakes respond, but they went above and beyond to make sure that the cake, the delivery, and EVERY detail was perfect. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I cannot say how pleased I was working with them. HIGHLY recommend!
We ordered a Cocomelon cake for my daughter’s first birthday and it turned out great! Star Cakes was great at corresponding back & forth while we settled on a cake size. And oh my goodness, the cake tasted amazing!! My husband and I were happy to have leftover cake to enjoy for ourselves! Thank you, Star Cakes!!
My sister and mom ordered my baby shower cake from here. I don't normally like buttercream but whatever they do here is absolutely amazing. The vanilla cake was so moist! We ended up with extra and I've been munching on it for a while and it still tastes fresh. Also the cookies from here are amazing too. Beautiful and tasty!
I'd originally been in contact with another baker, who stopped responding to me. I contacted Star Cakes a little more than a month before my wedding and Lisa got us right in for a tasting and planning meeting. Everything went perfectly, she was super easy to communicate with - and the cake turned out beautifully and it was SO YUMMY!. We were very impressed with our experience with Star Cakes, and will definitely be back for future events!
I'm not someone who normally leaves reviews, but I absolutely loved every bit of my experience here. It was honestly my first time ever ordering a cake and I was very nervous, unfortunately I was ordering it for the next week and that was definitely way too soon. Though they originally were going to say no due to their high workload completely understandable, and what i had expected!, they ended up working with me and got my order in as it was a super simple cake I had requested. I was surprised but sooo thankful. When I came to pick it up the man there was incredibly kind, we chatted for a bit before i had to leave. Not only was everyone incredibly friendly, but the cake was amazing!! Absolutely going to be a return customer here. Thank you guys so much for working with me <3
