Been here for different occasions for several times, I can only say nothing for me to complain about. Owners are very dedicated to the business, service is beyond average Chinese restaurants. Food is yummy with no question. They even have installed one Karaoke machine on the second floor private dinning room. They open for business in most days in a year which is very thoughtful. Love it!
Went for the lunch time yamcha, the food rotated very quickly and there was a good steady stream of options. Was a little dissapointed they gave us room temperature coke.
Good place to dine especially with big families, our family always have parties here, food is good at reasonable prices. the boss and staff are friendly, great location with plenty parking. definitely recommended for Chinese food goers.
My go to yum char place love their siu mai, friend pork buns, fried squid, and prawn dumplings. Love the mochi vanilla ice cream as well. Service is pretty quick and staff is usually friendly. Highly recommended!
Probably still the best yum char dim sum restaurant in the shore. It had maintained it's standard for the past decade. If you are a keen dim sum yum char goer, you got to try this place.Food: 5/5
Peking duck was beautiful. Nice crispy skin and soft pancake. Other dishes were nice and well flavoured. Portion sizes are good so great for big family dinners. Service was pretty average hence the 4 stars.
My mum ordered fish for CNY and when she ordered it a few days before she was told $78. Today when we went to pick it up they changed it to $88 because "the fish was bigger". Bish the fish was smaller than last time, if it wasn't because we didn't have a fish prepared for CNY already who would buy from your shoddy business with it's dodgy business practices. Oh yeah, and always remember to calculate your yumcha yourself because they usually always "accidentally" miscalculate it.
It was average to be honest, it’s similar to most yum Chas I’ve been to, so not blowing me out of the gate. 5 dishes $54.90 later. I didn’t realise how expensive their dishes are! Plus $2 per person for tea . The bolo baos were huge though and tasted great. But I was shooked at how expensive things have gotten.
Went for yum char. Waited a long time for waitress to take order. Then dishes served cold have been sitting on trolley in customer dinning area near entrance of kitchen! Time was 1.30pm and five of us incl Australian visitors.Very disappointed. Parking: Parking always available across the road business area. Depend on which day and time on weekdays though.
The best yum cha lunch menu on the North Shore.. A great dining experience @ affordable prices..one of my most favourite Chinese restaurant in Wairau Park
