We had my daughters 21st at this venue. The venue was fantastic. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Barbara helped us with every aspect. Food was beautiful and the staff looked after all our guests wonderfully.
I held my Mums 70th Birthday at the Stamford Hotel Rowville. We had a Black and White Masquerade theme. From day dot, Barbara the events manager was very approachable, patient and accommodating. I kept in regular contact with Barbara right up to the day of the party. Even when we had a huge number decline in number attendance and almost thinking of cancelling, Barbara and Gary the Hotel Manager were very understanding and accommodating in helping us and was able to adjust our package to suit our number of guests. Our party was a great success with the help of Barbara and her wonderful team, everyone had a fantastic night and really enjoyed themselves. Thanks again Nicole Tucker
Very nice meal 4 courses served to your table. Waiter service was good even though a little disorganized. Santa came for the children oldies missed out. Good service at the bar and at normal prices. Huge carpark, overall a good experience.
We all enjoyed our meals including the kids. Couldn't resist a sticky date pudding. The donuts are sensational. Mmmm
The food is ok enough and the service is good. Low rating as the tables are all sticky which put a bit of a downer on our visit I did check to see if the surrounding tables were sticky and they were as well
The Stanford is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy eating in the bistro or the steak house next door place there is a children's play area through the bistro restaurant so the parents can enjoy themselves or even head off to the pokies and try your luck
What a great place to stop on the drive home from the Dandenongs! Despite the busy rainy night, the friendly, helpful staff gave excellent service with a smile. It was warm, clean and comfortable, with a happy vibe, and the food was good. We had the soup and the roast of the day, which were as good as you'll get in such a large and busy venue. Broccoli and bacon soup was delicious, as was the lamb roast well done only and roast veg. Very happy, will leave room for dessert next time!
Overall my guests were very happy, comfortable in the room settings, the bar servers were friendly and professional. Jackie and Chloe were very fantastic. Thank you to you both. Food was served quickly. Security guards attended every now and then. The only thing that is a bit disappointing was the food for my husband and sister-in-law who had dietary requirements were not served according to what was promised to be served. My sister-in-law had to take her medication as she was served fried rice, the oil made her allergies flare up. Fortunately, she was alright. She should have been given, Mary Entree - Thai noodle salad Main - Moroccan pumpkin risotto but got Thai noodle with tofu but not the Moroccan Pumpkin Risotto instead fried rice in the oil which did not agree with her. Whereas my husband was supposed to have fish for entree and Greek salad with halloumi for mains but instead received calamari which does not agree with him due to health reasons and then received mixed vegetables. He did not have any entree because he could not eat it due to allergy.
Clearly a well liked restaurant as the front entrance treads are bare. Lots of parking, well shaded by good sized trees. This venue has multiple businesses on site, catering to a wide range of requirements- including plenty of private function rooms for hire. Large kids playroom video of the playroom throughout the bistro and high chairs available; order meals at the kitchen and drinks at the bar. Plenty of meal options for all tastes and requirements. Food service was SUPER fast. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of birthday's etc. with staff happy to bring out lit cakes etc.
We held our 40th birthday here and it was wonderful. The event planning from the start to end was very professional and organised. We didn't have to worry about anything. The staff and food, drinks and decorations were fantastic. Our guests had a wonderful time. A function venue we highly recommend.
