Extremely unprofessional service. I got a credit voucher for $100, where I will have to pay $80 as a penalty fee. How foolish this thing is. They are saying that I can only book a flight through them. I have to pay any extra fair difference, but will not get any refund/remaining credit on negative fair difference. So practically, ill have to call them to book a flight of $100 to save extra fair difference and pay $80 extra as a penalty. So whats the point in giving the $100 voucher for my cancelled flight in first place? Anyway I have to pay the money. Whats the point of a VOUCHER? Just tell me straight away that we have taken your money now, and you wont get it back. Hard Luck ! “EXTREMELY UNHAPPY” Please do not choose this travel agency.
They aren’t refunding me for my cancelled flight for 6 weeks now , Worst customer service and very poor communication, they can’t speak English and still running the call centre . Please never ever book a flight with them.
booked a flight from sydeny to brisbane virgin australia for $105 on 16/06/2022. travel date - 04/10/2022.. call them on 17/06/2022 to change the dates of travel. they wanted $130 penalty for date change and $200 extra for the new ticket. it would have costed me $330 for the date change. I booked a new ticket for $105 again.
Needed to change my flight, the staff were very helpful and changed this with no problems. There was a flight change fee , but this is expected with any airline.
Just insane service, Exploiting customers money I booked a flight in July 2020 and flight was cancelled due to covid restrictions so they added a credit to my account after deducting some administrative fee. Now I tried a make a booking using that credit which is $282, I requested to book a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne price showing on website is $154, but to use my credit the apparently the ticket price doubled to $356 and they say that the price I have to pay If I have to use my credit. Simply looting customers, so frustrated, If you want to save time and money simply don’t use them On top it to speak with customer service team Every time you have to be on hold for at least 2 hrs
Bloody ripoff. Wish I read the reviews before I purchased the tickets through them. Had to cancel flights due to covid cases and it’s a nightmare to re-book using the credit. No easy way to communicate. Can’t get through via phone or email. Contacted through Twitter and takes them a full day to reply to a simple message and that too they reply only with insufficient info and again takes a day to reply to get more information. It clearly shows they don’t want to help with the bookings nor want to provide the refund. DO NOT USE THEM TO BOOK ANYTHING. 0 starts rating.
Great experience! My flight schedule was changed by the company. Student universe offered to fill a refund form and just had the confirmation today that the funds would be back in my account within 7 business days
NEVER book with StudentUniverse!! Got VirginAus credits after the border shutdown. Three months later when I try to rebook a flight, they charge me $150 more than what’s available on Virgin website and when I asked for refund because they are not fairly charging me, they said it was voluntary cancellation by me what?!! not Virgin so can’t guarantee for refund. Any how I requested for refund and it’s on progress. The way they dealt with the matter over the phone wasn’t sincere at all! Such a disappointing! Just check their own website selling the same ticket for $170 less than what they charged me. Unfair!!!
