I booked my travels at Sylvia Park earlier this year, and have just returned after a 3 month trip. My experience from start to finish has been fantastic. A very helpful team in planning and advising my trip beforehand and whilst away. Now I'm looking at booking my next trip with this store soon.
Just today, I went to Sylvia Park and saw there is STA travel shop. My friend and I came in because we saw an ads to Japan at good price. We came in and saw a guy who is Assistant Store Manager sitting right there near the door. His name is Carl Rowley, if I am not wrong, as there was business cards next to him. We were shocked because he was so impolite. I asked if he could give me a quotation to Vietnam. I did not even finish my sentence and he shook his head and said that he is busy. His colleague will help me. I never met a travel consultant who was that rude and really, is it the way STA travel treats their customers! Maybe he is racist and thinks that we cannot afford to buy air ticket at STA travel. I feel so sorry for the company, who has an employee like that. Seriously, if he is busy and cannot consult customers, just go inside. Why did he sit right at the front door and reject to serve customer in such rude way! Bye STA, I won’t ever visit your store again.
I will give you less than 1 if that could be possible!! It's hard to believe that if the person who is supposedly taking care of you become busy, no one else can do it, not even do a quote from scratch. For some reason, the worst people are in Sylvia Park branch, 2nd time in there, same outcome; obviously I didn't choose you this time, it was randomly by the system.
Really helpful, looked after me from start to finish! I was super nervous about travelling solo but they helped me pick an amazing tour Contiki! and I had a fantastic time! Can't wait to go travelling again!!
Very hard to find this place. Sylvia Park needs to add more signs or have an info kiosk for shoppers to locate stores inside the mall.
WORST experience with the staff at Sylvia Park branch. Non existent customer service. 0 stars
