It comes down to luck which teachers you get, half a decent, half are just robots and don't care for your education and are just doing a job. There are some amazing teachers are truly care, but there are some I wish I could of avoided while I attended. Thankfully, I left at the end of year 10, only due to having my two favourite subjects on the same line, which forced me out, and honestly, it was for the best, I was finally able to move to a school better for my mental health, my sleep schedule, and my learning. This school puts too much emphasis on homework, and not enough on the actual lesson that you are suppose to learn in. Most teachers just sit on their a** and say read the OneNote, which shows how little they care. No attempt to further explain or help individual students. Do More, St Thomas More. Will not recommended sending your money and students here.
I just have to say that this is by far the worst school in Australia. Even though I have not experienced all the schools in Australia I just know this is one of the worst, unhealthiest ones. They try to make it look good on their posts which is why I went there in the first place. I Actually then experienced what it’s like to be there and I’m telling you it was so hard waking up everyday knowing I have to walk into that place which is the waste of money. They don’t care about your education or mental health. They just care about boys not having facial hair or girls with second earrings in. Kids have killed themself at this school and it’s the school system which makes them do it. Please listen to me and never think about going to this school.
The school is a complete and utter mess, it lacks morals and direction. Staff are rude and incompetent and have no respect towards students or parents. I do not recommend sending your child to this school as it is a big waste of money.
We have found this school very supportive and my 15 year old wants to stay at school and graduate which is a great thing to hear from your child.
This guy i met at the basketball court near me is the pg for the yr 9 bball team, hes very good
