As a former student at this school, I had no issues with this school at all. Teachers were great & I never witnessed bullying personally at my school. I’ve been to 5 different schools and Saint Rita’s was by far the best.
Really Great school, Lovely teachers and students.nThis school offers many programs such as 19 different sports, 19 different instruments, debating and speech. It really makes you feel important as an individual and encourages you to find self worth. The school is all about having fun in life and don't pressure the students to do well in exams or assignment however they do encourage to do your best. The school also aids student well being with student councillors and being able to open up to teachers and Head of Houses. Also has an incredible campus.nI highly recommend sending your child to this amazing school.
I really loved my time at St Rita’s in the early 70s. We had a mix of nuns and lay teachers. The nuns were stricter by far though thoroughly dedicated teachers.nWe had a state of the art library with a language lab, pool, tennis court and netball courts.nJune Dally Watkins visited weekly to teach deportment and social etiquette.nnWe were also taught ballroom dancing to coincide with our annual school dance.nThere was much to love at this school then. I’d hate to think it could have changed.nIt certainly gave me a great sense of self worth.
It’s a very nice catholic school, my son went there for a few years and he loved it. When you enter the first thing they do is hand you a cross and tell you “Jesus is with you.” It’s really nice, but it’s a bit weird when he starts chanting words i don’t understand, it sounds like he’s speaking in tongues. Other than that it’s a good school.
My 3 girls loved St Ritas after attending other further northside schools that were really just like state schools that were trying to be private and charge fees. Would recommend St Ritas to everyone.
