Please, for the sake of your children, do not send them to this school. I graduated Pius in 2021, and while there were a few stand out teachers who made an incredible impact on me and helped me through my high school experience, my overall experience, and that of a lot of my peers was awful.nnThere is a culture of bullying and the environment is not a place that allows children to thrive. The few stand out teachers that helped me, were helping me navigate problems that the school itself had exacerbated and allowed to worsen, this is not an environment your kids can thrive and learn in.nnThe school is currently ‘rebranding’ by changing the name, however I do not believe this ‘rebranding’ can effectively change the overall environment or culture of the school without significant change and implementing changes to the some of the staff from the top down. Though the presentation of the school and motto may change, without real change to the structure of the school, removing certain staff members, who they have received complaints about for the past 20+ years, and without them stopping protecting their own instead of addressing problems, the ‘rebranding’ will be entirely a ‘save face’ effort rather then actually implementing lasting change to the environment of the school.nnPius I plead with you to take accountability for the wrongdoings and stop hiding problems and protecting staff in order to project a better reputation, it looks cowardly and is actually harming students as your allowing your students to continue suffering in a harmful environment, rather than changing it for the better.
This school is awful, the teachers get you in trouble without you getting your chance to speak or even say your side, if you walk into the male bathroom there is a 50% chance you get bag searched for no reason. A lot of teachers have strong negative emotions towards certain students and can make people uncomfortable often. Some staff are rude, unhelpful and just angry very often towards students. I think this school just needs to better.
I would not recommend this school, the teachers are way too strict, handing out detentions for not putting your name on something. Like what the hell, the administration needs to have a look at what is going on inside the classrooms. Also has a vaping problem. Definitely would not recommend, send your child somewhere else.
Amazing school! Some people just notice the bad people but there are plenty of good people. Place supports pride and has anonymous reporting system! Would recomend!
I have only been at this school for a year and I got to say I love this school. the only problem I have is that the bathrooms at lvl 3 are so bad. 4/5 love it but not hate it.
