Very lovely dining experience! I went for a friends surprise birthday dinner and the food and atmosphere were fantastic! I enjoyed the 7 course degustation and the staff were quite friendly and helpful.
A shining light on a struggling Beaufort St dining precinct, St Michael serves up excellent fine dining and service. While the food isn't quite up to the Petite Mort level they are both co-owned by Todd Stuart, local god-tier chef, it's still a great place to try some great flavour combinations and very well presented dishes.
Fantastic dining experience. The staff and service were exceptional. They were all friendly, efficient and professional. We had the seven-course dinner and the food was amazing. Our favorite dish was the Scallop and Pig's Cheek. Highly recommended.
The food is quite average, however the scallop was great. The decor is cheaply done, you can see that the owner has tried to scrimp and save, at every possible opportunity, making the place feel very uninspiring. There is definitely not a feel of fine dining. The staff were friendly enough.
