No words for how disgusted I am in this schools behaviour.nnNow refusing to accept students with dreadlocks or braids, which are protective styles for Afro/curly textured hair. Something they obviously have no clue about.nnThese actions by the school are nothing but discriminatory as it only affects coloured students.
this school is horrendous, my son has only experienced racism here and they do nothing about it, they suck. they don't allow dreads or braids which are african hairstyles, they dont ban mullets, they dont ban edgars, they ban the AFRICAN HAIRSTYLES. also, my son has a skin condition which is when he shaves, he ends up with eczema around his lips and chin, Greg Van Es did not care when my son told him about it and completely disregarded the fact that he had a medical certificate from a DERMATOLOGIST?? like hello are you okay in the head did you get drop kicked as an infant? im doing my best to control myself right now, this school has me heated im not alone in this boat and i know a lot of other parents whos kids had the same experience. i would DEFINITELY NOT recommend anyone to send their child here, dande high is way better, fountain gate is better. this school is worse than any public school and no one should send their child here until they fix their ways.
This school is unaccepting of people who have skin conditions. My boy gets eczema when he shaves and is excruciating pain, and the VICE PRINCIPAL told him that he needs to shave anyways even though we provided a medical certificate from a Dermatologist.
Excellent School. Fantastic teachers. Safe, secure and great educational environment for both girls and boys alike. Would very highly recommend this school for all parents wanting their child to succeed in secondary education.
