I have a breast lump & my GP felt it necessary to refer me to the Warrnambool Breast Screen Victoria Clinic @ St John of God Hospital for a mammogram. I waited a month for my appointment & when I attended I was taken to the consult room & was completely shocked when they refused to perform my mammogram - & only seemed interested if I had breast cancer in my family or not. They didnt even look at my breast lump but informed me that I had nothing to worry about & sent me home! Im actually disgusted with the way in which this Breast Screen Victoria Clinic has treated me which has actually occurred on 2 occasions now!. Their decision to not perform my mammogram again! has caused me undue stress, anxiety & confusion. The quality of customer service is extrememly low.
I had a minor knee operation here recently, Everything went quite smoothly and the staff were excellent. I really enjoyed listening to the hold music on the phone, the new age synth really had me so relaxed I could hardly remember why I had called. Highly recommend.
My Nan and Pop are not in great health and are in their late 80s, my Nan had stomach cancer and caught covid in the hospital and got sent home too early, my Pop was forced into the task to monitor her and himself because of his heart condition and other health issues he had a fainting spell at home, they’ll probably send him home too soon aswell. We have limited family in the area, and a private hospital like this should send someone out to monitor her too, You are a private hospital in a quiet part of the state, I am seriously concerned and disappointed. Do better St John of God. Kindly Lewis Scouller, their grandson.
My mum recently had a knee replacement at SJOG. We cannot fault the quality of care she recieved during her stay, and her outpatient rehab has been excellent. The staff are professional and caring, supporting us with all the information we needed to ensure a smooth transition home for mum.
I can't speak highly enough about the care provided me on my last three visits to SJOG in Warrnambool. Having experienced Melbourne hospitals in the past, it is a true delight to experience the difference this country hospital provides. The nursing staff are truely professional at all times, and the medics provide excellent care. Always clean, welcoming and as restful as a hospital can be. Thank you!
Husband had a minor op yesterday - well done to all the staff who were absolutely fantastic. They were all so caring, unbelievably polite and helpful. Not that I want to but I would go back there again and highly recommend them.
My mother has just had a week in rehab at SJOG Warrnambool. The staff are to be commended for the care they give. Nat is lovely to patients at St John's as are all the nursing staff.
I want to commend the dedicated care and attention I received this week from the staff - nursing, hotel services and environmental - in your hospital. Efficient and friendly, they are all to be congratulated. I can't thank them enough. Fiona - RM 10
