Visited this temple for the first time. Good temple. Good place for mental piece. Canteen at the temple need upgradation.
First time to the temple and the architecture seemed really similar to another temple in Parramatta, maybe the same trust built it. Very peaceful, the priests in here are very helpful and told us about the different deities. There's a canteen that serves done good South Indian food but war shut the day we visited. There's some car park space in the compound but you could always park off street if it's full.
We have been visiting this temple from last 4 to 5 years. Their is one committee member his name is mahendra tall man. He came to us started saying you can’t bring and light your own lamp. You have to buy from here. If you want to light your own lamp you need to pay money. I just want to ask is this a temple or retail shop. Even when i went to clarify to priest. He said temple has their new policy. These people always cry for the parking don’t park car here. Bloody annoying if you have problem people park car in the temple then close the door.This phucking ed8 should be removed from the committee . Canteen is too unhygienic. Feel sorry for the other committee member who deals with this guy mahendra money hungry man everyday.
It's a Hindu temple of goddess Durga. It also has all the major Hindu deities. Inside the temple is very well maintained. There will always be ample parking inside. There is a small canteen which sells south indian food. The surroundings of the temple can be well maintained. It's peaceful to visit this temple.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Incident at Regents Park Durga TemplennDear Regents Park Management,nnI am writing to report an unpleasant experience we had at the Durga Temple. We had booked a Satyanarayana Vratam at the Regents Park Sai Mandir, and I was under the impression that the Durga Mandir and Sai Mandir were managed by the same administration. Consequently, we parked at the Durga Mandir, only to realize that the event was actually taking place at the Sai Mandir next door. Assuming the management was the same, we went in for the ceremony at 3 PM and returned around 6:45 PM on May 19th.nnUpon arriving at our car, a man working at the Durga Temple aggressively confronted us, yelling about the parking being reserved exclusively for Durga Temple visitors. Although we apologized and expressed our willingness to comply with the rules, asking him to either fine us or have the car towed, his aggressive behavior was unacceptable. He charged towards us and screamed at us, despite the fact that I was with my husband and our 10-year-old child.nnAnother temple visitor witnessed this incident, recorded a video, and intervened on our behalf, only to be yelled at and threatened by the security guard as well. The guard angrily shut the gate and stated he would call the police.nnMy concern is not about the parking rules, which we were ready to follow, but about the unacceptable manner in which your security guard treated us. We had apologized and were prepared to move our car, yet he continued to behave aggressively and disrespectfully.nnWhile we have already talked to the Police and dealing with the complaint against him now as we have the video proof ,I would like to know how the Regents Park management plans to address and justify this security guard's behavior. Visitors come to the temple seeking peace and a pleasant experience, and such behavior is completely contrary to that.nnFor future visitors to the temple, I would advise caution around this individual Mahendra , as he has the potential to significantly disrupt one's experience.
