The food menu here are extensive for a café and features some of the most delicious food served at any café. Add that to a good location and view and it makes a great place to come and eat. Definitely worth trying. Regards @fooderarri
Beautiful place, very nice views. We only had coffee and it was ok, service was fast.
Please avoid this place if you have dietary requirements. I went to order a chai latte and asked if the chai powder has milk in it. I was confirmed by two separate staff at the cafe that it definitely does NOT contain milk. They were not confident in their response so I asked to see the package. The first two ingredients of the chai powder were whey powder and skim milk powder both milk!! If I had listened to them and not trusted my gut instinct I would have left this establishment feeling very, very ill - due to a dairy intolerance. This is the second time I have attended this cafe and both instances had huge wait times. Seek elsewhere arrangements to avoid being sick.
We only had a quick coffee from here which was okay, and the service was quite prompt. The views are what makes the cafe great, with lots of indoor seating available.
The worse experience ever. Do not go. Coffees are served in different cup sizes so even if you order a small latte you could get a piccolo size latte. We ordered a chicken & Avo sandwich that was leaking and oily. Apparently they use the same oil for chips and seafood since the “bucket” chips we ordered had this fishy taste.
Not going back as I ordered a gluten free pie only to b given the other pie full of gluten. I asked a second time n the manageress come out n said yes its gluten free only to bit into it n discover it was a gluten pie. Not happy as I suffered 2 days of pain n problems because of their lack of knowledge of the food they put out. People have allergies n they need to realise it's just not in our head. One day they mite have a food allergy n realise the pain they have put onto others through their incompetency
Wish I read the reviews before heading to the cafe. Had a bacon and eggs roll. Bacon seemed pre cooked and sitting there for couple of hours before serving, it was burntblack and very dry. Sausage roll was also burnt and dry, couldn't eat it. The food was bad and overpriced. Will visit for the view but not for food.
Utterly, utterly hopeless. The people working in this cafe likely struggle to find their way home at night. Such pathetically hopeless service and disorganisation. They work with no sense of urgency, despite the queue I was in extending to 48 people. It took 30 mins to get served. Instead of taking orders with dedicated people at the counter and having others fulfil the orders the same people do all of it, so for ages there are no orders taken, despite there being many staff working there I saw 5 and there were more out the back.
We went there today, My mum and I had a beef party pie and a sausage roll, The beef pie had no sauce it was dry and no flavour The sausage roll was burnt, no flavour, it was disgusting And the price for 2 little pies and little sausage rolls is a rip off. We will never eat there again
Sadly 1 star Not quite sure what is going on there. Many staff at coffee station however all orders were coming out late and incorrect... it took SO LONG for my tea and latte. 20 mins wait and it was a takeaway. Staff don't seem to be to bothered either. Very over priced for such poor quality food and service. Sad as it is one of the best venues in Canberra but don't waste your time or money here
